This is a corner bar. They have good beer on tap, there is a pool table and dart board, and it's tiny. They have a parking lot, and it's close to home. I have never seen anyone eat anything other than the peanuts at the bar.

I had heard about the Tin Widow's holiday pop up being one of the best area, the hype was not wrong. From the entrance to the ceiling and walks, this place is the definition of deck the halls. Unless you get here right when they open it early in the holiday season, I would expect a crowd. The drink menu is so fun with holiday themed drinks served in matching glassware. You can even purchase the glass/mug for an additional fee. A lot of the cocktails looked to be batched cocktails which help with the bartender's efficiency. Highly recommend making this place a holiday stop. I'm also curious to stop in after the holidays to experience it without all the holiday decor.

They had several seasonal cocktails in special festive cups, which you could also buy to take home. I got the Cheery Cherry Chocosaurus, which was good, but pricey for what it was. Almost all the seasonal drinks were $15 each and didn't seem too big. The venue itself is medium sized, but feels crammed quickly. There's more people let in at a time than there is seating, so you have to move fast to get a seat. I'll likely come back during the summer to try something else.

Very hometown bar vibe. We must've come around happy hour because we had a bit taken off the bill for our 2 beers. More exciting when you don't expect it! We took the shuttle down and it's free with a drink purchase inside. Our driver was great and you could tell that they were trying to hustle at the end of the night even though they were plagued with post game traffic. It helps that they have a few shuttles going. Can't wait to come back and try the fish fry - it smelled amazing!

It's fun, delicious, and varied. They have the best fish fry in this area of town. Beer battered, piping hot, served with creamy coleslaw and fries--it's dreamy and delicious. I also love their blackened salmon salad. In the warmer months they have some outdoor sidewalk patio seating that is lovely. In the cooler months they have plenty of seating indoors. Good people, good food, good beer. What's not to love? Get to it.

The place does a good job with the decor of an Irish bar with the woods, stone fireplace, windows and light fixtures etc. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary to start and I looked over the menu but I remembered from my first visit that they have a burger of what ever so I asked what it currently was and it's a Swiss patty melt on marbled rye with choice of side, onion straws is a personal favorite of mine so yes please. My food came quickly before I could even make a dent into my decent spicy Bloody Mary which had two olives as a garnish, weak presentation at best. The place wasn't busy at all and my server/bartender didn't do a great job at taking care of me and I waited 10 minutes at least for a box and a check after I was clearly done with my meal. The Swiss patty melt looked delicious with a cold pickle, onion straws and what looked like 1000 island dressing on the side. The pickle was a nice size with decent crunch wise. The onion straws were perfect with a light breading, tasty/thin cooked in relatively fresh oil. The Swiss patty melt was cooked perfectly rare with a char grill flavor, melty Swiss cheese, translucent onions with some crunch on perfectly toasted marble rye bread. Overall the service could have been better and yah I could have ordered an Irish staple but I was thoroughly satisfied with with the Bloody and burger of the month.

Service can be a bit spotty at times, though it's les for a lack of trying and more of a lack of enough staff that tends to drive any issues. Everyone that is here, though, is friendly, to both newbies and regulars alike. This is definitely a "townie bar," so it's not uncommon to see the same faces whenever you come. One highlight on the menu to consider is the Artichoke and Chicken pizza. Baked on a crust so thin it's almost invisible, it's a great size and value and heats up well the next day too! Or get the nachos and have food for five!

The place is a good kind of dive bar because it looks old with lots of wood. I would have a summer shanty and a third space for my beer options which were ok on a lazy Monday. The menu isn't large but it has all the usual suspects as far as bar food goes and I would get a burger that comes with frys. I ordered the Good A Burger rare which is bacon, jalapeños and Gouda cheese just because I have not seen that combination before. The burger looked good with lots of frys. The frys were hot cooked to order and seasoned nicely. The burger was good on a fresh toasted bun and as rare as you could get with the thin patty that was somewhat juicy. The beef had a nice grill flavor that complemented the bacon nicely but the jalapeños were can/jar and not fresh. Overall I can't complain about anything because the service was good and the food was fresh and hot on a lazy Monday afternoon.

My wife and I both ordered the turkey club sandwich, one kid got a cheeseburger and one got a grilled cheese. The kids like their meals. Yay. The problem is both my wife and I had mold on the bread for our club sandwiches. The bartender was super apologetic, said our meal was free, made a point to explain that they have more bread available downstairs, then asked if there was anything else we wanted. We both said no, assuming he meant something else while we waited for our food to be remade or a different item completely. Almost half an hour passed by and I got tired of waiting for our remade food, so I flagged the bartender down. Apparently he took us saying no as we didn't want anything at all because they never bothered to start remaking our food. Our kids were already done with theirs and were getting bored, so we just left even more frustrated and hungry than necessary. I was also super embarrassed because I talk up how good their food is and this experience makes neither of us want to stop back again. Guess I'll not be ordering the turkey club for work lunches anymore either now that it's clear they don't sell enough to turn over their supply of bread before it gets moldy.

Got happy hour drink, Water of Life which was good. It came in a flamingo cup. We ordered two food dishes to share and were not very impressed. Portions were small for the price. The island stir fry was bland, the teriyaki sauce on the side was needed. We added jerk chicken which helped with the flavor. But disappointed in amount of veggies. The Wauwatiki smash was alright. The smash patties were a little charred. The pineapple was not very juicy and the burger could have used more sauce. We arrived with three people (one a regular due to GF dietary needs) and started at the bar while waiting for a table. Right away, the service felt off. My friend asked about a martini -- understandable if that's not offered, but the bartender's response came across more curt than courteous. When she explained she was hoping for something more savory, that could've been a chance to suggest alternatives, but instead he just walked away. My own drink, which I'd ordered before, was supposed to come flaming with a cinnamon stick, but it was served plain. Without the flame, the cinnamon stick added nothing. We also weren't given straws and had to grab them ourselves. The bigger issue was around my friend's gluten-free needs. When she asked about the coconut water, the bartender admitted he wasn't sure but assumed it was fine because "that's the restaurant's thing." Instead of checking the container or showing her the label (which is standard at most places), he told her to look it up online. That felt dismissive and concerning -- especially since the brand isn't certified GF and could risk cross-contamination for someone with celiac disease. We decided to stay and order food: crack fries, chicken tenders, pork tacos, fried rice with jerk chicken (suggested by our waitress as a protein add-on), and a Caesar salad. The fries (with volcano ranch) were excellent, as always -- honestly the highlight of the meal. The tacos were good, and my friend enjoyed her tenders. But the rest fell flat: the salad had brown lettuce, and the jerk chicken in the fried rice came shredded and bland, almost boiled, instead of the grilled/seasoned style we expected. The rice itself was gummy and lacked flavor. My friend didn't touch it, and the waitress didn't seem to notice or ask about it. When the bill came, they did credited $5.50 of the $6 for the chicken add-on. No offer of to-go boxes, despite lots of food left behind. Overall, the service felt inattentive, the drinks underwhelmed, and the food was hit-or-miss -- especially for the prices. It's frustrating since this is one of the few GF-friendly spots for my friend, but based on this visit, we may just stick to at-home dinners together instead.
