Wow is it wrong to love a Tesco? It probably is, but I live in an area that has teeny tiny…read moresupermarkets and this place seems so large for a London store. I weirdly found this Tesco a really entertaining way to kill a 40 minutes when stuck in Seven Sisters one evening. What I found brillo: 1. They have a nice selection of home wear and electronics - woo hoo when did Kenwood food processors get so cheap? 2. They stock lots of ugly clothes from F&F and you can waste at least 10 minutes looking through the sale items and agonising whether to buy weird furry jumpers. 3. Best of all is the super dooper giant world food section. It's a cornucopia of global produce, flowing with exotic foods from around the world. Often food from this section are strangely cheaper than buying the comparable product from a different area in store. For example coconut milk is way cheaper here than a few aisles down. You can get your Caribbean, your Indian, your Turkish, your Kosher or Polish on to name just a few of the many cuisines that they stock. We very much enjoyed the Polish chocolate snack section. I can heartily recommend the Alibi bar - an awesome coconut, wafer and caramel chocolate medley. I can only presume it is named Alibi because it is so delicious you might not be able to resist stealing it. Therefore needing an alibi. But I did pay for it honest, for an import it wasn't even that much £. In true Tesco tradition, the place does seem a bit ugly and depressive, and the staff weren't very friendly. All the served checkouts were closed so they push you towards the evil self service checkouts of doom - but despite all that, the amazing stock makes up for it and I wouldn't mind if they had one of these in my area (well if it didn't kill all the personality out of my local area that is).

My go-to supermarket in the area. I like their world food section. You can find cheap stuff, but…read morealso a little bit of quality if you want.

I have replaced eating chocolate (and bread and cheese and all of those nice things) with sushi…read more I'm not fussy about my sushi, any old supermarket that sticks rice and fish together does me well. So, anyway, I figured that I would make my own. And this is where Whole Foods came into things. Sushi went surprisingly well. But my bank is missing £16. And that's not including any fish or vegetables. This place is pricey. But its good for you. The food is fresh, there is a big variety of things, they have a great deli section for you to take out hand made, fresh cakes, salads, etc. So I guess that you are paying for the quality ingredients....and good for you stuff. Just don't come the day before you get paid, coz this place is no bargain basement. It is worth coming on a Saturday, as there are loads of free samples dotted around the place, and if you eat enough then you will stop being hungry and buy less, so you will be able to afford your rent. Which is always a good thing!

Soooo overpriced. But if you're trying to find fancy, random, exotic ingredients for your newest…read moreGordon Ramsay creation then this is a good place to find them. Extremely poor treatment of young customers. I have been shopping in this store for over 10 years…read morewith family etc, and over the past few years I have noticed most times I'm in the store I am being followed around by the security guard (as described earlier). However one experience has really thrown my family's interpretation of Morrisons off completely, and this experience involved another staff member as well as the security guard. Me and my friends were casually browsing an isle to when I noticed the lady staff member as described earlier was trying to intimidate me and my friends to leave the store with her arms folded alongside a partially aggressive facial expression which she held for more than a minute as we looked in discomfort. I would like to add that no suspicious behaviour was going on between me and my friends during this whole time (for reference we are all sixth form students in further education) who were NOT looking for trouble but instead browsing the store. I asked the lady worker if she was okay in a formal manner to which she began to give extreme attitude to the point where it felt as if she was moaning at us for the sake of it. Her clarification to why she was trying to intimidate us was completely ignored, as she believed she was not doing so....however I am 1000% sure if you checked security footage you would find she was. To no surprise the security guard who I described earlier makes his way over completely unaware of the situation, to which he then immediately sided with the employee under the impression we were causing no good. During the entire interaction I stayed in a professional manner with no poor treatment of staff or bad language used however on the other hand the security and employee continued to stay aggressive and intimidating with their behaviour severly lacking good interpersonal skills and shutting down all allegations that they or (she the worker to begin) was in the wrong. Threats such as calling the police on me and my friends were also made, with no reason to why. And I can confidently say that in an overall summary the way in which they handled the entire situation was childish and unprofessional. I repeat no antisocial behaviour was carried out by me and my friends. Both of my friends stayed quiet the entire time whilst I spoke up about how I thought. A compliant has already been made by my father as he knows for himself that the security are over the top with LOYAL customers, however this complaint has clearly not been taken into account. Do better, whether that's more on the job or off the job training these situations make customers feel uncomfortable and it's time someone spoke out. Now aside from this...Morrisons have some nice and friendly younger employees who have obviously had successful training. with this being said some employees particularly those who are older or have more experience in the store, need newer training etc.

unfortunatly i had a weir experience today at morrisons loughton, the cashier didnt find a barcode…read moreon the item so he said " i cannot scan it" at my request find the manager do something.. he. replied " we have two managers i dont know where they are" and was just looking at me - the customer. so ive decided to try and help him since he is so lost, just asked the staff from selfcheckout to call the manager and surprise for me was that this boy was telling me where to go to the over end of the shop and try to find there the manager.. amazing how the staff is sending the customer go and find the manager bcs we dont know where he is and we dont know how to call him/or maybe its bcs they forgot they have to be helpfull ?? more dissapointing to me is that the cashier has no way out if the item has no barcode... so if there is a struggle at the cashier what the customer doesnt matter?? Now at the end of all of this the manager came which was a young girl who had no interest in providing little customer service at least little .. her first question is " where did you get this item?" how the manager doent know what items the shop sells???? is it her first day? so all of this could be avoided as well as maybe a small teminder to this staff members -- they are suppose to help
