Only when we were about to leave did they turn the AC on. To top it off, the card machine wasn't working and we were told that a new one would be coming on Monday. We had a reservation so it would have been an idea for the staff to call ahead of time and let us know to bring cash, as they should do with all reservations until the card machine is back online. I was smiled at when came in by uniformed waitress & was given a Choice of seating. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri & a a water, which came in a cute jar. My friend had a lovely looking French Martini. I had the festive 2 course deal which was mango & parcels for start & the turkey shebang for main. This was soo delicious! They were soo flavoursome & the parcel was crispy & sweet! The main was lovely & the pigs n blankets were yummy over my turkey with little balls of stuffing. My friend told me the meat was from the local butchers too. I felt the seating was a little uncomfortable & the young waiter was a little too cool for school & seemed inexperienced which marked them down. It is also a yummy mummy type place so lots of screaming babies in too, which didn't make my cocktail go down well. Food was delicious, but too many screaming kids in such a small area. It's a weird mix of that & a place to get a cocktail. So I was confused what kind of place it wanted to be. Good for a quick meal & out, but couldnt stay long for drinks with so many young kids running around in such a small place. We left & went to a pub with adults only :)
