He was pleasant with a great manner. Appointments were good to great, and within 3-4 appointments, his nurse-practitioner began to assume a naturally larger role. . She (Shauna) has a good hospitality sense.; appointments were long, friendly, and detailed. . The problem; however, lies in prescriptions and regularity of scheduled appointments. Being a Hypertensive Type I Diqbetic, I have medicinal needs: Lantis, Gumalog, Glucose Meters, and multiple Heart/Cholesterol meds. ALL ARE TIME SENSITIVE. . My wife would make regular daytime refill calls (required for action) and there would be no refills. It became so spotty we had to make in-person appointments to get to LIFE-AFFURMING MEDICATUONS. Additionally, Shauna (our RN) stated we could just call, however when we did, we were required to visit...for checkup- although we had seen her within 87 days. . In addition to that, she required us to keep Blood Pressure Logs to prove need for a High Blood Pressure Medicqtion previously prescribed in a Cardiac Care Hnit by a Cardio Doctor. . Of my 51 years as a patient- 26 as a Duabetic, WHITEHALL NEDICAL IS THE WORST I've ever had. . I called my former physician (hard to access either my blindness/accessibility) who i hadn't seen in 3+ years. Without question or posturing, all medications were simply refilled. . I've always been about taking care of me until I didn't. Being my moms caregiver was extremely hard. She passed on July 9, 2025. Prior to that I had my own health issues and always tried to make my appointment but ended up canceling, missing or rescheduling because of my mom. My doctor for some years left and I ended up with a male doctor who I seen once maybe twice and then I get a letter saying I was basically fired and had to find not a new doctor but go to a whole new Ohio Health for care because I missed and canceled to many appointments. Between my health, my moms emergency calls every other day which was 1 hour away, I had to be there for her. Ohio Health Pickerington never asked about me and what I was going through. My original doctor would and even call to check up on me but she left and I had no notice. So the new team didn't know me and instead kicked me out. I'm still with Ohio Health but a different location. I'll soon be able to have my medications renewed. Its been 2 weeks and they gave me a month but during that time my mom passed and I just didn't remember the deadline to make other arrangements for a new doctor and location. I write this because I had no where else to express how hurt I was to be going through dealing with my mom and then being let go from a whole primary care program. This hurts more then my mom passing. I needed a CT scan done and my doctor sent me to the Eastside Health Center. They called me to set up the appointment and pre-register me. When I got there I was taken in almost immediately to complete the rest of the paperwork and confirm insurance. Please note: Make sure you tell them you want THEM to bill your insurance company or they will bill you and you have to fight with the insurance company to pay it. After I finished with the paperwork side, Lynn walked me through and was with me the rest of the process. She explained everything so thoroughly, brought me the contrast to drink, put the IV in, and administered the test. She was so kind that even thinking about it now is bringing me to tears. She calmed my nerves and made me as comfortable as it could be. If everyone is as nice as Lynn at Ohio Health, I will definitely make it a point to go to their facilities for tests. I never really thought to give a review about medical practitioners, but I was thinking about an upcoming visit and actually had a smile on my face. Who actually looks FORWARD to going to see their doctor? It took a while to make it to her list of patients because she was so popular, but she came highly recommended so I waited patiently. I've been seeing her for over 10 years now and refuse to see anyone else. She has a great group of doctors at that center, but I prefer to see her. Knowledgeable in everything and fun for conversation. She even busted me in public, trying to hide a pizza from her view as she approached. Now that's respect. Or is it fear? They will have people who are not their regular staff . They will take all Confidential information Like Social security , contact #'s, Birthdate, family information BUT they don't share their name who take this information. If you don't care about your secure/confidential information then take risk of calling here...... On top of this their calls are not recorded because of this their staff talk very rude and show attitude. They act like they are doing some charity work on their spare time. Their office management staff also very very rude and they don't accept that the patients confidential data is in unidentified people's hand. I asked them to prove me that my data is secure but they didn't have any answer to that and they just bypass the question/request and talk something else. Both the office staff managers don't have basic manners how to deal such issues and not capable of answering any valid questions. You are at your own risk if you choose to go here and deal with such kind of people. PS: This feedback is not on doctors here but on the operating staff.
