Our youngest daughter was told she needed a root canal and the first time we were referred to the pediatric orthodontist they immediately told us that was for sure not the case. Then a 2nd time we were told she definitely needed a root canal "because we waited too long to take care of the tooth's issue" they wanted to refer us to a different pediatric orthodontist, at which point I insisted we see the same one (the most experienced in our area) Bayless didn't want to send us back there and now it's crystal clear why. His inexperience caused our 13 year old 4 unnecessary Dr visits. We moved to a DDS who immediately fixed the issue in her own practice. This could have been resolved months prior. We also btw had to pay for each referral appointment in the tune of several hundred dollars. Not great care = not great customer service = the reason why we left their practice.

We haven't ever had to wait for the start of an appointment. Great team that's works really well with making kids feel good about going to the dentist.

The biller was rude and demanding. She was yelling at me, and threatening me. My insurance problem was eventually resolved. They have now blocked my phone number. My husband can get through but not me. They now owe me $400 and I can't even call them to get my money back!!!! it doesn't matter how good of a dentist you are if you have shady billing practices. We will never go back.

My kids have both had to have more intense procedures than the norm. My daughter had to have a tooth pulled. She is "quirky" and a kiddo with fairly significant ADHD and sensory issues. She goes to a special private school (Chartwell) and is not the easiest when it comes to accommodating her neuro-atypical needs. Doctor Miller and his staff are so patient with her and she loves coming to the dentist. They REALLY know what they are doing!!! The receptionist is kind and gets all the paperwork done so that the insurance takes care of most of the expense. My son is also neuro-atypical and has this weird condition where his teeth do not fall out but rather have to be extracted. Again, they are great and he gets to watch his favorite cartoon movie with laughing gas while they extract his baby teeth to make room for the adult teeth that are coming in. This practice is so cool, I have BEGGED that they take me as a 49 yr old patient. Im NOT kidding. I would TOTALLY be down with watching "Finding Nemo" for the 27th time while breathing a little nitrous gas while having a cavity filled but they do not take patients past the age of 18 :( Oh well, at the end of the day I would rather my kids get the better and more fun care than me anyways. Shucks! I have my youngest who still has another year with Dr. Miller. He is just so kind and caring to all of his patients and his staff is literally the best dental staff ever! As an adult, I have switched dentist about a dozen times because I find it so difficult to find the level of care that my children have had in Dr. Miller and his team. We have never switch pediatric dental care for my children. I only wish I could find a dental care as great as Dr. Miller and his team. From the office staff to the dental care team...each and every one of them are simply the best! When we lived as far as Soledad, we used to still bring our kids to see Dr. Miller.... One would wonder why such a place would be sitting in business with two stars review and the answer is very simple because every crown and the root canal done is quality controlled by the company and by identical itself. They deliver the best quality crowns and root canals. They deliver partial dentures that are acrylic and not metal. The staff cleaned the place every day. They have an extension clinic in Marina. I have a feeling that Real Estate is so expensive. It's hard to retain the dentists. One thing is for sure they try to recruit experienced dentists.

Scheduling was pretty easy. I was able to schedule a new patient exam appointment online within a week timeframe. Once booked you receive a confirmation via email, and will most likely receive a confirmation call the day before as well. The dental office is located in a small plaza with plenty of lot parking spaces. I was welcomed with a friendly greeting and given a few new patient forms to be filled out. The entire office is friendly and knowledgeable. Appreciated the communication from everyone - front desk receptionists, the X-ray tech, Dr. Sharma, and the dental hygienist. Yup - I lucked out! They happened to have an opening for a cleaning so I was able to get both my exam and cleaning performed on the same day. Glad to have found a great, new dental office!

I've been going to the Seaside office since 2017 and have had numerous crowns, onlays, fillings,…read moreplus a root canal. The technicians cleaning the teeth are good, but for dental work stay away. I've had problems with onlays and crowns falling off, the most recent crown right before Thanksgiving 2025. When I went back to re-cement the lower crown, the dentist noted that it was "the wrong kind of cement. See how it's flaking off," he said to the assistant. Then they left me in the dentist chair for about 40 minutes, and the office manager came in with a card reader, and presented a bill for $250 to reattach the crown. "Didn't I just have this crown put on?" I asked. She told me it was an old crown, done in 2017, so it wasn't covered. Since we were going into a four-day weekend I relented, but when I got home I went through my dental records - that crown was only 22 months old, so I felt I was misinformed. But the worst part is that I was sitting in the dental chair for almost 2 hours, listening to the grinding and filing in the next room. Yet I did have an appointment. And after that tortuous visit, the newly attached crown still felt too high, painfully pressing on the molar above it, because the harried dentist didn't have time to ensure a proper fit. Meanwhile, 5 weeks after being reattached, the crown has already fallen off, but I won't be going back to Central Coast Dental. end
