    Mornings Kolaches

Why 5 stars? Because why doesn't the rest of the world know about Kolaches?? --- --- --- This is a required stop every time I visit my parents. Why is Houston the only place I can get a good kolache? That, I will never figure out. It's a Polish food... I never knew that Houston had such a large Polish community, while other places I've lived (Cleveland, Tampa) do not. Warm/buttery dough, cheese, and meat. What better breakfast on our planet than that? None is the answer... none. And Mornings Kolaches does it the best, even if the first word in their restaurant name is unnecessarily plural.

This has to be one of the best places I've ever had breakfast kolaches. The different combinations they have are ridiculous. You have so much to choose from you probably have to come back over and over just to try them all. They also have a good selection of Starbucks coffee in the cooler.

God bless morning kolaches! The rolls are great to get for holidays! I recommend getting ham and swiss or the fruit kolache!

White bread rolls with filling. Not bad but definitely not worth going back. Very cheap though only $1.50 roughly each. Service was good

They recently added an awesome gravy kolache and the jolly peño pops (bacon, cream cheese and jalapeño) is one of my favorites.

I called a few days before to ask and the lady was nice enough to let me know when to get on the wait list for the best possible outcome of being seated when we got there. We got there about 30 minutes before we were seated so it wasn't too bad. Remember it was a holiday and brunch is popular for mother's day. The inside is so cute and the bakery food looked so good. The hostess and server we got were so nice. I got the Brisket Benny with a side of fruit. The brisket was sooo tender and flavorful. The biscuit it was on was yummy too. My mom got the Italian Omelet with a side of cheese grits. She didn't like that the spinach still had the stems but other than that it was very good and the cheese grits were seasoned nicely. We brought them home and my 10 month old LOVED them. My sister had the bacon egg and cheese croissant with a side of potatoes and we all shared the waffle. My sister doesn't drink but she got a sprite with pineapple juice and she loved it. My mom got the bloody marry. She loved it. I'm not a fan of tomato juice BUT I'd definitely get one next time I go. I got an iced latte and added caramel sauce and it was perfect. It was definitely a good experience and I am looking forward to going again but on a non holiday this time.

You can't go wrong with the Bacon but Different (brown sugar and cayenne, what a combination!) or Burrata Toast, but I'm a simple brained American who prefers a good pancake above all else when it comes to brunch. The customized flight pancakes check all the boxes for me: presentation, portion size, and most importantly, the flavor. It's quite large so I recommend sharing with someone else. Not a fan of the Protein & Veggie Egg White Scramble... I feel like I played myself by choosing something healthy at a place meant for indulging, but why even have it on the menu? The rest of the menu items taste too good to have this as an option. All in all, it's quite impressive for a restaurant chain to serve food of this quality. Can't wait to visit another one near me.

I went in early to surprise my daughter for her birthday and specifically asked if they did anything special. I was told, "Yes! We do a celebration pancake!" Now maybe that's on me for imagining candles, singing, excitement, SOMETHING festive. Instead, a random employee silently walked up, dropped a pancake on the table like a government document, said "here's your celebration pancake," and disappeared into the wind. No personality. No happy birthday. No sparkle. Just pancake and abandonment. The food itself was great, atmosphere was cute, and we still had a good time, but the birthday experience definitely did not match the hype. If you're wanting a fun birthday moment... maybe lower your expectations to "side item with emotional confusion." Do better or don't offer it!! It was very RUDE!

Limited Pleasure!…read more Allow me to start off by saying it was delicious fulfillment and they never seem to fail. This location near the Baybrook Mall is perfect for shopping and dining. Plenty of room and fast service. The severs are amazing and work to get it right for you everytime. The noise level is always pleasant and you can actually hear the music as well. First up is the Farmers Market Soup. Initially, I thought a cup of this would suffice and I was gravely mistaken, so I ended up ordering a bowl, after finishing the cup. Simply said a sweet potato has been transformed into an such an array of flavors that your palette begs for more. Next up will be the Fire Roasted Veggies, who stand firm and flavored coming straight from the grill to you plate and then your table, only to be found by your fork to be appreciated by you. However I cannot leave out the chili sauce they are layered in with a hint of spice. I need this recipe. OMG! Last up will be My Specialty, a small amount of the soup accompanied with the veggies will encourage your taste buds to sing for more. Amazing location and service. The prices are bad either. Unless the menu changes at least one of these will be in my order, if not both. Bye ~ Bye !

Although we understood it was a busy holiday evening, the overall service felt extremely unorganized. It was very apparent that employees were rushing, and the atmosphere felt chaotic rather than coordinated. My drink was made incorrectly twice. We ordered the same dishes we typically enjoy, but this time the plate presentation was noticeably different and appeared rushed, as if the food had simply been placed on the plate without care. Additionally, we chose to take a slice of cake to go instead of dining in for dessert, yet we waited over 25 minutes just to receive it. And while I waited that long no one checked in with me they just stared at me. Unfortunately, what we hoped would be a special Valentine's dinner date turned into a very disappointing experience. We have always held this restaurant to a high standard, which is why this visit was so surprising to us

They have small breakfast items such as yogurt or oatmeal bowls, you can also create your own egg bowl, or you can have one of their breakfast sandwiches. You order at their counter, and the lady was very nice and so helpful, since she had asked if it was our first time there. I ended up ordering their Farm Stand which is a bagel sandwich that has an egg patty, American cheese, and bacon. I had that with their Cuban Latte with soy milk and vanilla. My friend ordered their Avocado Toast, crushed avocado, Pico, cream cheese, and topped with a crumbled/crushed hard boiled egg on your choice of toast, she had that with a Cuban Latte as well with caramel. Everything tasted good! The only complaint I had was that the Latte wasn't sweet enough for me so we had to add sweetener, but the gentleman who made our order said we could ask them to make it sweeter next time when we put in our order that way it blends better with the coffee. They also offer baked goods such as mini donuts, macarons, cheesecake bites, mini cinnamon rolls, and more! You're also able to get lunch or early dinner here as well, I haven't seen that menu yet but their Liquids menu seems pretty large. I can't wait to come back and try their other items on the menu!
