During escrow, I spent five hours at the house on repairs and walked into a smell that nearly knocked me over. A massive pile of human feces had been left unflushed in the master toilet for an unknown length of time, and the AC had been running full blast. Shelby apologized, noting the water had been off. Fair enough, but I'm the one who found it. If you were a buyer walking through that house, would that smell make you want to make an offer, or walk out? Shelby was also dual agent on our first offer. It collapsed over a $5,000 gap, she offered $2,500 of her commission, and the buyers cancelled. We lost weeks. Sellers: get fee, agency, and property-check routines in writing. I would not use this brokerage again.

We brought her in to sell a house in fairly rough condition, and she was kind and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She letting us use her contacts in the industry not just for "selling the house" that any agent could do, but also for fixing the needed things to pass inspection, clearing out old furnishings, and overall making the house look great. Heather provided excellent service throughout the entire process and was extremely diligent with asking us before any work was done, and the status of said work, when it was underway, so much that towards the end I fully gave her jurisdiction to make decisions for the house.
