They do not carry a full range of nuts, bolts, screws and fasteners and plumbing fittings of all kinds, so they are not a general hardware store. They just have a lot of good tools at low, low prices as well as a lot of neat stuff like small gas engines and a lot of items that will surprise you. If you are a do-it-yourself kind of guy, then you will love Harbor Freight.

After discovering I did not need the bits I returned them but unfortunately did not have the receipt. I purchased with a credit card and had the purchase logged into their computer. they admitted it was their product with their code and was purchased at their store. But without a receipt there would be no credit. I went home and printed off my credit card statement and highlighted the purchase and the brought it in to be reimbursed. The manager smiled and said "no store receipt no refund" with a nice "gotcha" smile. My advice: go across the street and shop at Lowe's.

Interesting conversation since new information was revealed. The person who came was a supervisor from another department? No telling where he was from. The AM said the supervisor for that department was at lunch - that wasn't mentioned at all the whole time I was in the store. The AM said the help button worked at the windows/doors desk on Saturday, but the employee who I was able to flag down said it was inop, probably because of a bad battery. Sounds like the AM was gas lighting. I once again told the store employee that I wanted to talk with the Store manager. He said he would pass it on, like the store manager doesn't want to be bothered with customer service. This isn't getting better, CORPORATE! This is only getting worse.
