She didn't have my spot prepared quite yet (she is working on that this week), but she tucked me into a large pot so that I could stretch my legs after shipping. I tell you, traveling that way in a box is almost as bad as an airplane trip these days. Anyway, thank you Gardens of the Blue Ridge for making a commitment to growing the finest native plants. It has always arrived fresh , well made and full! Shipping may be a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion to order where you know everything is fresh and well made! Each Christmas, I organize a group of 5 friends who gather to make boxwood tabletop trees ( all while enjoying cocktails)using boxwood tips supplied by Gardens of the Blue Ridge. Again their product is packed and shipped with care and arrives fresh as can be! I've spoken with several employees including Katy and Savannah regarding delivery issues, not on their end but UPS' and everyone has been , pleasant and helpful with great follow through. I highly recommend this supplier... beautiful fresh greens!

Both knowledgeable and ready to help - not at all pushy. They asked questions, not just what I was looking for, but thoughtful questions, such as: what is my elevation, do I need something fast or slow growing, and if I'd be available to water a new plant liberally for first year. Then they advised me with just enough information so that I didn't feel overwhelmed, (IOW- 'stupid' ). I couldn't get over the variety of lush and healthy plants. It was a relief to see that each kind had a card with description and price (quite reasonable). Definitely go to their Instagram page to see photos. My new favorite nursery

I misread their website and thought they were open but as we pulled up, discovered they were closed but you could call for an appointment. As we pulled away, I called and left a message for the owner, hoping we might be able to come back later. About two minutes later, Michael, the owner called me and invited us to turn around and take a look. He gave us a tour and a education on his trees. We must've spent almost two hours chatting with him and ended up with several trees to take home at very reasonable prices. We will return when we make it to Asheville. We enjoyed our visit and will enjoy these trees! Be advised that like many smaller nurseries in NC, cash is preferred, so hit up the ATM before you go.

This place truly lacks customer service. They lack it so much they don't even know how to spell…read morecustomer service. I went with my parents to buy 4 rocking chairs and two small end tables. My mom asked if they had a military discount, my dad is in the Air Force. The lady literally said "I've sold furniture all day and no one has asked for a discount." First, we were buying them regardless, and a lot of people give a military discount and there is no harm in asking especially Memorial Day weekend. The lady was so rude. She found someone else who said we could have 5% off but we had to pay check or cash, if we paid credit card we had to pay full price?! What?! That isn't a military discount that is a CASH discount when you have to pay cash or check?! So we finally bought them. $2,220.93. This was not a cheap purchase. They promised to deliver and then said it was $60 to deliver less than 3 miles. So we decided to make several trips to pick them up, since we could make the trip to and from I less than 5 mins. We got back and our 4 chairs which we paid dearly for, are sitting I the PARKING LOT! We picked them up and on our last trip we in to tell them we got them, had our receipt if we needed it, and they older lady "we don't care." So yeah, I would not even buy a dang plant from this place. It's my mission to make sure they never treat anyone like this again, especially someone who fought for their freedom. Good luck to them, and I hope they know how lucky they are to live in freedom every day!
