I went to this lawyer regarding an estate I needed help with instead of agreeing to take money out…read moreof the estate she had me pay a consultation fee of $375 then pressed me for $2000 for a retainer..she said she had a few people not pay her and it was right before Christmas and she was strapped for cash...I told her I could put some of the money on a credit card...a few days before Christmas her secretary called and said she was too busy to represent me...so basically she pocketed my $375 for a consultation knowing she didn't have time to represent me...I asked to speak with her and her secretary said she was on vacation...supposedly...I waited then called back and she has refused to speak with me...she knew that was all the cash I had...if you are too busy to represent someone don't give them a consult and pocket their cash then refuse to speak with them...hopefully someone else won't make the same mistake I did by trusting her

They contacted us directly when it appeared we were running behind on our mortgage and told us to stop paying. Such bad advice! They claimed to want to get us into a loan modification and told us to stop all contact with the bank. They were literally hunting us down. We were scammed and these people are as low as they go. The Attorney General's office is now involved and so is management at M&T. Do not engage with these people, especially Cindy Hulett, who gave me the worst advice ever.
