I have a chronic illness, had been very fatigued and feeling really lost and depressed. Main stream medical has failed me so I wanted to try some less conventional types of treatments to see if I could at least get my energy up and centered. I didn't know to much about reiki other than it cleans up your energy and centers it. First off Molly is an amazing and gifted woman. She is compassionate and truly wants to help people. I go in there a mess and a scatter brain and leave feeling special, grounded and truly loved by her. I feel like I am important and I do count. That is a gift within itself . Not only is Molly a reiki master, but she is also a medium and intuitive healer. I had no clue what I was in for. I feel she is one of those gifted people you see on TV or read about. I have been getting the color and sound reiki sessions. It's over an hour long and in just a few minutes I am deeply relaxed. Buckets of stress wash away. Durring the sessions there are sounds and smells. I can physically feel a shift durring this time as spirit works through her. The more times I went the more I could "feel" durring the sessions. It was quite exciting and even more so when we discussed it together latter and found we shared similar experiences durring our time together. Equally important and impressive is the period after the session where she discusses with you what information she received from you and spirit. Yes she is very gifted and can tap into all of that. I actually tag on an extra half an hour of counseling also. I believe she may be a certified Councelor or has some sort of degree also. But durring the time after the session she explains what she saw as she worked with each individual chakra and if need be, things to be worked on and or adjusted in your life. This part of the session was mind blowing. She knew things about me that she could not have possibly known. Some of the things I did not even know or recognize at the time! For instance my inner voice is very negative twords myself and that certain things in my past regarding my family were still impacting me in a negative way. She not only points these things out to you but she also directs you to the begining point on working on them in a positive constructive way. I have to say that working with Molly helped me open up my eyes to a whole new world and with her help and loving direction she guided me to a point where I was able to work on myself and was able to achieve a level of inner happiness, peace and ballance. I looked at things differently and approached obstacles in a different manner. After just a few sessions I felt more grounded than I had in years. I understand myself more, have a plan and I feel a lot better and have more energy. Molly made me feel special and loved. She is a beautiful compassionate and gifted woman. Positive energy just radiates from her and through her tallent. She truly cares about you as an individual and has a calling to help people. My father recently completed alcohol detox there. Staff…read morewere incredibly short and rude with my mother, both during intake and on the phone when she repeatedly tried to tell them the medication list they had for him was incorrect and included gabapentin, which his doctor had recently taken him off of due to a prior adverse reaction. Instead of checking/confirming with his doctor, they brushed her off and said "We have the list from his pharmacy"--- which was not correct because it still included the gabapentin. When she called to follow up (because she did not feel heard by the intake staff), or to ask a question about insurance coverage, staff either told her they would call her back but never did, or transferred her to voicemail, and her messages were never returned. THEN, when my dad returned home, he was so overmedicated on downers that he was slurring his words! When my mom called Adcare to ask what kind of drugs they had given him and when, they said the night before he had been given a combination of ....melatonin, benadryl, AND GABAPENTIN!!! A quick Google search, and even a non-medical professional can find out that that's not a recommended combo, especially for older folks who could have slowed breathing, fall risks, etc, (and definitely not for people who have had adverse reactions). Finally, the discharge paperwork they sent home said, "Patient given a prescription for Narcan." and the box was checked!! My dad is trying to kick alcohol -- Narcan is for opioids, so we are not sure what to make of that. Patients are more than addicts, they are vulnerable humans who are there to get help and care. They and the people who love them are trusting that they will be safe there, and deserve better. This might have been a better review, if staff had approached a caring family member's concerns with empathy instead of brushing them off, and been willing to take a moment to check and confirm my dad's meds list.

My fully-disabled parent had an appointment scheduled to follow up an MRI. Well, as fate would have…read moreit, the MRI got scheduled for the same day, 5 hours later. Obviously, we can't review MRI results for an MRI that hasn't happened, so I contacted the office to reschedule. I left a message with the answering service, then left several voicemails (during office hours) explaining the need to reschedule and reason, over the course of a week. When I received no response to those I even emailed through the website. No response. So a little over 24 hours before the scheduled appointment I left another office hours voicemail explaining that since I haven't heard from anyone it would be best to just cancel. The next day I received an automated message that we missed our appointment. Is this a medical practice that literally has no one checking voicemail? I am the full-time caretaker for two profoundly disabled individuals. I deal with medical appointments, doctors offices, and specialists all the time. I also have two full-time jobs, and work seven days a week to provide for those individuals. The stack of b.s. I deal with daily is sky high. The last thing I need is one provider's office adding one more thing to that stack. Caretaking someone with advanced dementia means a need for results in a reasonable amount of time, especially since medication changes are frequent. I can't wait months to forever to not hear from a provider with important medical information. So I contacted insurance, found NE Neurological, who got us in next month. Just putting that out there for anyone also in need of a responsive specialist for a loved one.
