Well, I just finished my 10(ish) series with Daphne, and I already miss her! I probably would have…read morekept going for forever, but Daphne was honest enough to tell me that she thought I had reached the full benefit of the rolfing series. (However, she did invite me back for tune-ups in the future, whenever I feel like I need them!). Overall, my body feels much more elongated and looser. I actually gained an inch or two in height, and even my mom would be proud of my posture now. My core is straighter and clothes fit better. My shoulders are even, and my right shoulder (chronic bursitis from playing competitive tennis) feels so much better than it used to. I honestly haven't had any issues with my shoulder, IT band, or headaches for awhile, and I'm attributing it to Daphne's mad skills. I just feel... healthy. I highly recommend rolfing and Daphne to just about everyone. After a few sessions, you will feel great!

This review is based on my one experience for accupuncture only…read more So I had my my first experience with accupuncture yesterday! I had never done it before so have nothing to compare it to but think I can be objective about the service at Cambridge Health which was very good. My accunpuncturist (Marilyn) was friendly and thorough in her questions prior to beginning. Marilyn clearly believes in the medicine of accupuncture and helping people which got through some of my cynicism. She made me feel really comfortable and made sure I didn't have any questions or qualms before starting. I actually don't have any physical issues (knock on the old wood) aside from weak ankles from sports but it turns out that it's best to have accupuncture before you have problems as a preventive health measure. The needles did not hurt (a few stung for a second) and I could actually feel stirrings in my ankles from the needles in my scalp! The appointment lasted about 90 minutes but flew by. I am still not 100% sure about the powers of accupuncture but afterwards I had a feeling of euphoria akin to Peter in Office Space after hypnosis! I also had football practice that night and my previously sore left ankle felt pretty good. I know, it could all be in my head, but I really enjoyed the experience and made a second appointment. They are running a special right now- 50% off your first two treatments if you call before 9/15 so give it a try!

This is especially disturbing considering the fact that the support staff I was dealing with also has a degree in clinical psychology. If you cannot interface with patients in a polite and constructive way, during simple interactions through phone and email, you are in the wrong line of work. Finding health care in the Cambridge area is difficult. Many offices have waiting lists. Many of your potential patients may already be on multiple waitlists, and may be desperate for care.

Whoever gave Dr. Ethan Siedberg a PhD should feel very ashamed of how he is using that title. He…read moreand his billing director repeatedly refused to provide me with itemized invoices, claiming my insurance was too complicated and suggesting that I if I wanted to keep track of what I was paying for, I could pay up front and submit claims myself. When I pushed back on this, Dr. Seidberg threatened to terminate my therapy until I could pay, as though I were refusing to pay. They also repeatedly charged my credit card for appointments I had not had, without explanation. Sometimes, especially if I threatened to write a nasty review, they would swiftly cancel these charges. Usually, however, I was told to wait until they received payments from my insurance company, or I was asked to pay amounts that did not match my online balance or own personal records of what I should owe. The only reason I kept putting up with these people is that I really needed the therapy, loved my therapist, and could not afford to pay up front. Thankfully, my therapist (who I love) decided to part ways and get a private practice, so I don't have to deal with this issue anymore. But when I went to settle my final payment with Kendall, they gave me an itemized list of what I owed. Funny how all of a sudden they were capable of providing what I had been asking for all along. My suggestion is to only see these people if they can process your insurance up front, or you can pay up front. Their therapists are great, and I do recommend seeing them if possible; if they're smart and talented like mine, they'll be going private soon anyway, because they don't want to deal with Kendall either.
