I just started my experience with this place so I will come back and update if I learn anything…read moremore but here are my thoughts. First, I was a little shocked that it's possible for a place to ask for a membership fee in order to see their clinicians. However, I just spent 6 months on a wait list somewhere else only to finally get matched with a therapist I really disliked. At thrive, I was actually able to make an appointment with someone the same day that I called! This was huge because honestly I was starting to feel like I was never going to find a therapist. Second thing that is interesting about this place is that you have an assigned care coordinator who actually follows up with you to make sure you like your therapist and that you don't need anything else. This is super cool because I actually reached out to someone at the other non-thrive location I previously was at asking a bunch of questions about if I could change therapists or if I could request a different kind of therapy and never was able to get an answer. Third, I really like my provider. He communicates so well, is available by email and text as well as zoom and FaceTime, and responds quickly. I feel as though he actually cares about me. TLDR/Summary- Despite the price tag, this place was able to connect me to a therapist immediately and the therapy experience is really easy and accessible. Considering other options like Talkspace and Betterhelp charge much more than Thrives membership fee I believe this is so worth the money.

The testing itself, once you get it, appears to be done well, with competent and friendly doctors and the suggestions that result can be helpful. However, if you have any kind of unique situation, either in the symptomatology of your child, or if the parents disagree about the causes or presentation of the issues present, their approach and systems here are utterly incapable, by design, to handle that. They struggled to handle our bespoke situation and the outcomes of that were harmful for my child. These issues were also frustrating, caused extra costs, and ultimately required external intervention to get the very basic testing required for things beyond the academic testing which was all they initially sought to do. I wish to also second the review that found their billing practices questionable. I strongly disliked dealing with this organization and found the outcomes sub-optimal, more expensive with insurance coverage than simply going to an out-of-network provider would have been and required immense efforts to get issues resolved, some of which never were and that led to further conflict and harm for my child. It felt like my observations or issues were either ignored or disregarded. I regret using this organization.

I first saw the ad in one of those newspaper advertisements they give away for free at Whole Foods…read more It looked like a great ad. I called to make an appointment as I was going thru a hard time in my life and wanted some guidance. I should have trusted my instincts. The way that he speaks is definitely rehearsed because he says it over and over again. Also when he is telling you something he has said over and over again, his tone changes like he is annoyed. I chalked it up to "hey we all have to repeat ourselves in our jobs everyday, no big deal" Boy was I wrong. He called the day before to confirm the appointment, and to make sure I had my credit card with me before we started. The appointment was 1 hour for $175, and for $400 and another 2 hours he could heal me and my past lives. The appointment started off with the past lives- It was like make believe. I also had to wait while he wrote it all down. Anyone could have made up that I used to be a shoe maker with throat problems, and that's why I clear my throat in this life often. Again, the story of me being a shoe maker sounded like he was reading it from an index card he pulled from a pile. I asked about relationship issues, health, career, etc, and then stopped asking questions, as it was just a waste of time. I could have gotten a better reading from a homeless man off the street. Hopefully people reading this review will CANCEL their appointment with him, and find someone else that is an actual psychic, or at least isn't annoyed with people while talking to them. Please please please go see someone else.

He barely made eye contact. My first time meeting him, he handed me a flier ad of more things to purchase from him and left me to sit with it in the hallway while he went in his office with the door closed. He tried to talk me into spending over $400 on my very first visit over the phone when all I requested is Reiki. My appointment wound up costing me $175 and still, no Reiki. His treatment was him speaking quickly for his microphone, asking me to repeat things occasionally, standing up and sitting down... The whole thing felt contrived and there was zero physical healing. You could say for that amount of money I could've gotten two 1 hr. Reiki sessions by my old healer (whom is the real deal plus has never pressured me about money). I have been to really good psychics/energy healers in the past, whose presence makes me feel nothing but love but I just did not get that from him. Sorry, if I'm to be honest that's the truth. Maybe he is gifted but he just is not humble or compassionate enough for my taste. I'm not sure. Side Note: I'm just going to remind people to please trust your instincts. Intuition is truly your best barometer in these situations. Recognize red flags and trust your gut. There are amazingly loving, EFFECTIVE, energy healers! Please spend wisely and don't give up from one wasted experience.
