Scheduling options was not disparaging and it's never a stigma to get help when you honestly need to get help. I did have uncovered unpaid balances for missing appointments due to both scholastic and two jobs schedule conflicts, in which in compliance I've paid in full and out of pocket. They accepted both HMO - and PPO- base insurance/s. Previously, I was told by doctors in the area that it was due to frozen shoulder but they realized that this was not the case and recommended that I get an MRI. Before you book a physical therapy practice, ask them 3 questions:…read more 1) How long is a session? 2) How many minutes of your session are spent on the table with a Dr. of physical therapy (as opposed to practicing your exercises or being handed off to somebody else)? 3) If you have a doctor's prescription to treat an acute issue -- such as for your ankle or knee or shoulder -- do they limit their treatment to the prescribed area, or do they treat the whole body as it is affected by the injury? I've had the misfortune of needing PT many times. I have been to a few practices and never disliked a therapist, but when I found Pro Motion in 2008, that's when I realized what I'd been missing. Ask the questions above, compare to Pro Motion, and you'll quickly eliminate 99% of other PT practices. All the therapists here are top notch and share the same philosophy. The only negative about Pro Motion is that it's hard to get an appointment. However, once you're in, as they schedule subsequent months they'll find slots for you.

This was my first time doing physical therapy every and didn't know what to expect. PT Solutions Tysons was so bad, that I couldn't wait to get checked out at Inova. I had a sciatic nerve injury on my left side, which was hindering my basic ability to walk, sleep, and sit. My first consultation was with Arturo, and he gave me dedicated 1:1 time, that I never got at PT Tysons. He asked me several questions, gave me some exercises, and was so knowledgeable. The best thing about this place is that they give you 1:1 time with the physical therapist, and I love that. Its not just about giving you some exercises, while they look at other patients. They are with you, even when you are doing the exercises. Within two weeks of therapy, Arturo realized that I was not getting better, and that the issue is not the hip but my back. Within a month of therapy, my pain was reduced by 40%. I loved that they tried different solutions on me, sometimes with deep massages, sometimes with exercises, and sometimes with machines. I started therapy with Inova Physical Therapy in June 2024, and I am already 80% better. I have stuck with one therapist only, and that has worked for me. The only downside is getting appointments. This place is so popular that getting appointments with the therapist of your choice can be very hard. So book ahead. Like any other medical facility, it all depends on who your doctor/therapist is. A bad therapist can make the injury worse. I can vouch for Arturo and this place for physical therapy after my terrible experience at another location. The medical experts here are very knowledgeable and very attentive. I've only worked with Arturo, and he is fabulous.

I would never in good conscience recommend this practice. I've been in PT several times at several…read moreplaces in the past 15 years (knee, hip, shoulder, neck). But I went to PT Solutions in McLean for Pelvic Floor PT because they took my insurance (most good Pelvic PT places don't). During the first visit my pelvic floor was actually misdiagnosed/mis-assessed (unbeknownst to me). Before the second session my therapist had gone away for a week and a half (nobody informed me) and I was called the day of my appt and asked if I would be "ok" with a male therapist (nope). On the third visit after a different female therapist said "I'm not seeing what (the first) therapist saw, (on her assessment)" I lost all confidence in the practice. BUT I still gave the group another try because...insurance. In the end, half of the exercises I was given were exercises I was already doing and/or things I could find online by searching for "pelvic floor exercises." Seriously. Moreover the therapist kept giving me exercises that could have caused me potential injury (lower back and hip) even though I had told my therapist in writing what my physical limitations were. The therapist also promised she would reach out to the other therapist I was seeing for my knee/hip to make sure she was aware of my limitations, but she took over a month to do so. When I said that I would not do anything that could cause pain to my back or hip/knee, the therapist actually said "well we expect some level of pain with PT." I also witnessed older patients doing exercises while un-observed-- while the therapists were typing on their computers with their backs to patients -- which scared the heck out of me. I made my concerns about my own health known to the therapist and she felt I didn't respect her treatment, which, ultimately I did not. She also felt that my pelvic floor issues were related to my hip (they are not) and asked if I would let her treat my hip (another nope) and we decided to part ways. They were supposed to send me my records/assessment so I could give it to my new pelvic floor therapist, but they never did. I did see a subsequent Pelvic Floor PT group, which sadly does not take insurance, but I got a proper diagnosis and more help from one session with that other therapist than I did in 5+ weeks at PT Solutions. For any middle-aged women who really needs pelvic floor PT, please go see someone who has years of experience (not 2 or 3) who is qualified to do an internal assessment, otherwise you are wasting your time, money and, in my opinion, risking your health. You may have to pay out-of-pocket but you'll get more out of it.

I've been in countless physical therapy settings as a collegiate athlete, but this one takes the cake. I felt like my care and recovery was a priority for them. The Doc said it was one of the worst tears he had ever seen. The therapists were conscientious of this and approached with extreme care. I initially started out three visits per week. The PT eased me to the pain and not through it as prescribed by the Doc. Over time my motions were normalizing. The PTs kept testing my movement abilities, and again not pushing. Let's say I been carrying this for 2 years after 2 injuries. I decided to ignore my doctor and see a specialist. I was recommended by my boyfriend because he too had problems with his upper body. When I saw his results, I was curious. What really drawn me to my comfort zone was when Dr. Magner was just listening to my story. She gave me a brief explanation of my situation. So I decided to set up an appointment. The process was so easy. Her staff was helpful. My insurance was processed smoothly. They explained my policy and payments. The appointments were easy to make and they were flexible when it comes to my unforeseen events. My first was appointment was informational and basic rehab. It was a lot getting use to. As weeks gone by my rehab routine increased as I improved. Dr. Magner is very professional when it came to concerns and targeting the problem area. Her staff is knowledgable and attentive. Each are educated and compassionate. Everytime I go off, they correct my form. Even notice when my shoulders starts to tense up. Thank youuu! Compared to another chiropractor I visited in the area, I really appreciated that Dr. Magner took the time to explain what she was doing at every stage, and what her plan was for my therapy. I originally found this place through ZocDoc, which allowed me to book appointments online. Unfortunately, they no longer offer online scheduling, so I'm docking them a star. The convenience of scheduling was what drew me in in the first place, so now that I have to call, I've been going to a place closer to home.

Note: some insurance covers this, some insurance does not. Regardless: it is worth the cost. I repeat: it is worth every penny. Anyhow, enough silliness - Airrosti is a national (?) network of providers who specialize in getting you better as soon as possible. They aim for 4 sessions or less. They will impress upon you the importance of following their directions and guidance, but, it's not hocus pocus. They have their knowledge, and they apply it successfully. Now, I am not a doctor or physical therapist or anything like that, but they know what they can treat and what they cannot. They focus on soft tissue stuff, I think - so, if you're not sure, just ask. They cannot fix everything, but they can help so much of the pain and injuries associated with my favorite athletic events from endurance to lifting to intense exercise. I went about a month before a marathon, because I had a wicked injury that was not getting better for almost 2 months - essentially sidelining me. With so many races, I knew this one was bad, and I feared the worst. Dr. Bryant was honest and optimistic, but I wasn't sure... until after the first session. I was able to move like I hadn't moved in all that time. More importantly, I could, in some respects, move BETTER. Ok, yes, there was some pain involved in the therapeutic treatment, but, that's physical therapy for you, right? Within TWO sessions, I was better. By the third, we literally talked, high-fived, and I was on my way. I waited to write this review until after my race - if it was as good as I hoped, I"d be able to run the race without the nagging pain. I had NONE of the nagging pain for which I was treated return, at all. Of course, there's always fatigue and wear and tear from a marathon, but the injury for which I was treated had no signs of reappearing. I am going to register for my next 26.2 within the next few days. I am going to start a competition in the next two days. I can only do this because of Dr. Bryant - I have told everyone I know who might need his expertise to just go, and for you, dear reader, I do the same.
