It's important to ask if you need to supply materials. I didn't know and had to provide the paint, nails and caulking. They brought the right tools for removing the large piece of lumber and sanding the old paint off and repainting and then finally reinstalling which is a two person job at the minimum. They were late on the morning of arrival after having to cancel last minute due to weather the day before. They did communicate well about arriving but also didn't have my address the morning of the job and I had to provide again. Despite these shortcomings, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again because they take pride in their job and were professional in breaking things down and clean up as well as set up. Thanks again to Butterfly painting and drywall for taking on my small project that was under $300. I hope to use them again for my other work.

He was respectful toward me and my property. I went on the roof with him to learn as much as I could, and he was good at explaining what he was doing and why. He explained some things to me which made me feel I could do the rest of the patching myself. Not so good: He charged me his minimum fee of $350, stayed less than half an hour and used about $5 worth of brown caulking on a few spots he thought might be the source of the water intrusion. After he left, I used what product I had to patch many more spots that looked suspicious. A few days later, the roof was leaking just as much as before he and I patched it. I feel like I basically wasted $350. Not his fault: This virus scare is making it difficult for anyone to do much of anything, and this rain is keeping all of the roofers quite busy lately.

I have pictures of the mess. Do not trust these guys.
