When you need the Best Harley mechanic for your Baby. Thank You Ben for your assistance with my 1972 XLH 1000cc

Moreland has helped me out a number of times. As a Harley rider, it's best to have a mechanic on speed daily. Whatever problem I encounter, they quickly address so I can get on my way and ride again asap. They have fair rates, but more importantly honest assessments. No BS around here. Straight shooters, and honest dudes. If you need a fix or an upgrade, you can trust these guys to get it done.

    Won best dyna!

I have been coming to Moreland's for a few years now. It's definitely a staple here in North County. They helped do a rebuild on my Dyna after my accident. Ben is super great with insurance and just great all around. I've never left there feeling like I was takin advantage of. Ryan can pick up your bike & tow it to the shop.. takes some of the stress off when your bike is mad . Thanks guys

Hey Farley, I got this god-awful ugly bracelet for free today with test ride of e-bike. Thanks Moreland Choppers!!! #BenIsTheBest

I've had bars, grips, exhaust, fender/brackets, and tires installed here. 3 hole fluid changes. They always check to make sure nothing is loose or an issue. I bring all my friends bikes here as well. Ben gives very fair prices for work and the guys always do a great job. I take my bike here for everything.

They do AMAZING custom painting too!

You can't go wrong there. The staff (the owner and the mechanic I know/met) know their stuff, probably one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I ever met. You will get the best advice and you won't be pushed to do any unnecessary work on your machine. Probably the only shop I trust touching my custom 2000 carburated, rebuilt fatboy. Full service is about $350 (if, like me, you have no space to do it yourself). Moreland also sales accessories etc.. Go there and support your local store! You won't be disappointed.

Confederate flag right next to the yelp sticker on the window of Moreland Choppers.

If you like your motorcycle repair done with a little racist, flair...then Moreland Choppers is for you. From nazi symbols to confederate flags, they have all for you. I've tried a few times to talk with them about their insistence on portraying these kinds of things in their window...but this is all that happens. It's sort of funny how they have their Yelp sign right next to the confederate flag... A few months back, I had to ask several times for them to take down the Nazi SS lightning bolts they had on there before.

We locked our keys in our car and they let us use their phone to call AAA. Cool people, they didn't have to do that.

Part of me really missed & longed for a former bike that I used to own, a matte silver & blue Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer. By chance, I found that exact same bike with low miles in exquisite condition at San Diego Motorcycle Exchange. I contacted the owner (also named Mark) and started the process of selling my current bike & purchasing the other. The entire process was painless, uncomplicated, well-communicated and efficient. It was clear that Mark is also passionate about motorcycles and runs a superb business. He quickly offered me a fair value for my first bike and within days, I was again cruising on the bike of my dreams. If you're reading this review because you want to make sure this business is legit and reputable, take my word for it: I could not have asked for anything more. Ivan and Steven were beyond helpful answering my questions of safety and performance. With their help I ended up purchasing a Mantis X in the box for a black Friday deal, saving almost $1k. Come Christmas Day my son opened the box and we easily assembled the bike. He was so excited! Then the battery wouldn't charge. Poor guy spent Christmas sitting on the bike imaging the ride. After research it appeared the battery level got too low where it needed to be "woken up" before the charger could recognize it. 12/26 I contacted Steven and spoke to him and Ivan about what to do. Because I was returning to SD to visit again they asked me to stop by the shop to replace the battery with one they had on the floor model. The problem is they were closed that Monday I would be there. Ivan came to the store to open up for me so we could exchange the battery. They knew how far I was traveling and made everything work to get my kids bike running. Super thankful to Ivan and Steven and all their help with this process. I will definitely be a return customer! TWO WHEELS UP AND RUNNING (5 stars)…read more Mobile service to the rescue! I've called around and this one seemed the best and most responsive. There are simple jobs to be done for easy money but finding people willing to do it is the challenge! I am lucky Dridox provided mobile service and came to my home to take of services I need... call service ($75) battery replacement ($65 + $29 for battery) and oil change ($85) , maybe tank flush if it didn't start up after the battery replacement. This is what I get for letting my two wheels sit idle in the garage during the winter months collecting dust. I reached out, got a quote, and scheduled the service with Adriano. I had intentions to do this all myself but didn't have all the tools and would like to see it done first before taking a hand at it... also eager to ride and want these services done ASAP! Adriano arrived early/on time, charged my battery and tested it (def needed a new one), replaced my battery, hooked up my charger device (recently bought it and didn't know it's needed for maintenance), it started so I didn't need a tank flush, but went ahead with an oil change since I was overdue. I did tell Adriano I been nearby g to do this on my own so he did show me how-to and what tools and what to look for or be careful of, which I super appreciate his professionalism and expertise. My little two wheels was probably a cake walk to what he is use to servicing. Within the hour all was done. If bigger jobs need to be done such as engine rebuild - they do that too and can rack your two wheels to their shop. The business accepts credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle. The motorcycle shop that usually serviced my two-wheels for years stopped providing service and only to Surrons going forward... they gain some but lost a lot of the only tailor to only a specific kind. My choices were 1) Do the services myself 2) Tow it to Fun Bike Center and get it serviced 3) Fine a mobile service to do it. With the impatience of not riding and budget considered, mobile service was best especially when watching and learning to (maybe) do it in the future yourself. For any future assistance with my two wheel maintenance, I'll be giving them a call. I highly recommend their services.
