Moreland has helped me out a number of times. As a Harley rider, it's best to have a mechanic on speed daily. Whatever problem I encounter, they quickly address so I can get on my way and ride again asap. They have fair rates, but more importantly honest assessments. No BS around here. Straight shooters, and honest dudes. If you need a fix or an upgrade, you can trust these guys to get it done. read more

LOVE THIS SHOP!!!!! Every time I've had services performed here it went smooth and it was a fast turn around. They have a lot of experience and knowledge apart from one another and in whole they raise the roof! They're top notch OG's!! You can't go wrong there. The staff (the owner and the mechanic I know/met) know their stuff, probably one of the most knowledgeable mechanics I ever met. You will get the best advice and you won't be pushed to do any unnecessary work on your machine. Probably the only shop I trust touching my custom 2000 carburated, rebuilt fatboy. Full service is about $350 (if, like me, you have no space to do it yourself). Moreland also sales accessories etc.. Go there and support your local store! You won't be disappointed. read more

If you like your motorcycle repair done with a little racist, flair...then Moreland Choppers is for you. From nazi symbols to confederate flags, they have all for you. I've tried a few times to talk with them about their insistence on portraying these kinds of things in their window...but this is all that happens. It's sort of funny how they have their Yelp sign right next to the confederate flag... A few months back, I had to ask several times for them to take down the Nazi SS lightning bolts they had on there before. read more

These guys are right down the road from my place, but that's not why I came here to service my bike: I came because they are willing to accommodate me when I call, no questions asked. They are all extremely nice and professional. And they absolutely know their stuff when it comes to motorcycles. There's no pushing you into a sale, no bs. I am glad to have a local place I can bring my bike to for service and/or repair. read more

Horrible experience my motorcycle sat there for one month unattended. The apathetic, intemperate manager would not return phone calls although he did say once before hanging up on me he could not source parts for a simple electrical issue. I provided him a parts warehouse that overnights for free but he could not manage to do it. When I finally decided to pick my bike up he would not even face me but instead exited the rear too busy again with a phone call? I really do not understand what I did as a customer to be treated so poorly? As a matter of fact I once wore a silver bracelet with skulls to the shop which the manager absolutely admired so I removed it and gave it to him much to his joy. Well, when I was leaving with my bike there was the bracelet I had given him in the counter display along with the sunglasses to be sold? what a guy, In closing, I never forget a face or place however in this instance I will make an exception . Morelands or the manager certainly did me wrong beware. read more

For anyone who isn't sure (I wasn't) they service sportbikes too! They also do brake and light inspections (needed to re-register salvaged vehicles) and they are the ONLY place I found in San Diego that does it for motorcycles. Fast, efficient, and helpful experience just now as they installed a new exhaust on my CBR1000. Thanks guys. read more

Terrible service don't go there price gouging, inconsiderate people. You would be better off going and letting a homeless person fix your motorcycle. read more

I have two motorcycles with high-end performance upgrades. These guys are experts. They do a great job of taking care of my motorcycles.

This has by far been the BEST motorcycle service experience I have ever had. The communication about my needed repairs was amazing- Ben took time and explained everything to me in great detail- so appreciated! He recommended repair options and worked with me to decide what was really necessary and what could wait. A full service and they Dyno tuned my bike and it now runs better than it ever has-- it has so much power, it's like a new bike! After going to the Harley dealership for service and being told my bike needed a laundry list of repairs ($5000++) I was grateful to find the skilled team at Moreland. They dialed my bike in for less than 1K and couldn't find any of those problems the dealership said existed.... I couldn't be happier with the honest, talented and kind team at Moreland. Thank you for your amazing work! read more

Hooked me up with my R6. I appreciate them for the speedy service and they got me back riding within the day.

These guys are they best. My shovelhead loves going there. No BS and everything is prompt. Happy customer.

Really nice honest business. Got my Harley fixed here and they told me what work was needed and what would not be worth it. Barely charged me for the work done. Totally recommend this place! read more

Someone wrote a negative review saying Moreland Choppers is racist - a white guy named Joshua E. - I'm black and I've been coming to Moreland Choppers for many years, since I was a young kid. Joshua E.'s review says there are swastikas inside - there are none (and if there was - it's a private business who cares) I remember 'stealing' my dad's 1980 Vette while he was work so I could pull up next to all the old choppers out front and take a picture. Stay in your lane Joshua E - This place is a staple of North County. The owner is a family man that lives and breathes motorcycles. I wouldn't go anywhere else - I will continue to support Moreland Choppers through thick and thin. Joshua E. is an effeminate liberal and exactly what is wrong with this country. It is so sad that we live in a society that allows people like this to flourish! Take your blonde wig and thong back to San Francisco Joshua read more

Hands down the best Harley shop in San Diego. They never upsell or bullshit you. The prices are very fair and the work is always done on time. I've taken my Dyna to other shops a few times out of convenience, but that was a mistake. Nothing but issues. Morelands has always delivered. read more

I took my Roadking to Moreland for repair after an accident. I have come to find out 2 years later, after needing new repairs, that they did NOT USE OEM parts as I was told and basically ripped me and the insurance company off. BE VERY CAREFUL TAKING YOUR BIKE TO MORELAND. read more

Nazi insignia has no place in our community. It needs to be taken down from the storefront and clothing. Stop promoting hate! The "SS" is hate, and using it on your business is disgusting and shameful. The last image I posted is from the Wikipedia page on the SS so you can see it's the same symbol. read more

I've been getting my bike repaired there for a couple of years now. These guys are truly straight shooters, especially Ben. I bought a Harley there, rode it for a day, changed my mind on the bike and they gave me a full refund with no questions. When I came back in to get my refund Ben was telling me other places to go look for bikes. I think I've changed my mind again and I'm going back to get that Harley simply because of the way they handled the whole situation and it's a very sexy wagon. read more

I had met the owner in Las Vegas several years back, he told me if I ever needed my bike serviced in San Diego to bring it by. Well that time came and thank you so very much for delivering with an exceptional experience. I had to leave my. Great work, quick turnaround time, at a fair price. These guys know there way around a bike. I have a 2015 Indian Scout and asked them to put a new set of mini-ape handlebars with bar-end turn signals and to remove a rear turn signal/ license-plate assembly from the back and add a side mount license plate holder with light. The local Indian dealer bawked at the idea of changing anything electrical, so on a recommendation I went to Moreland and they did it in a day and a half, no issues. I had always wanted to come into this shop and did for the first time a few weeks ago when I purchased a 1200XL. AWESOME SERVICE. I told them I had just bought the bike and wanted them to do a full service on it. They were more than helpful and patient with me. After I dropped it off I got a call from Ben and he informed me what my bike needed and they started working on it right away. They were great about calling me before they did anything to my bike and kept me posted on how the work was going. Got my bike back fast and it runs perfectly. They let me know if something was off to just come back or even if its to just check my tire pressure. Look forward to future service from Ben, Ryan and the rest of the team. I recommend this shop without hesitation to anyone and I will always come here from now on. Thanks Moreland's! read more
