We are on the edge of their service area (Redwood City). We had 2 homes to do (myself and my next door neighbor). Nick was very responsive and communication was excellent. His first visit came with a preliminary assessment and a walk of the roof. He took a number of photos to show us some of the problem spots (which were included in the final proposal). He's very personable and good to work with. Mostly over email and text, we were kept up to date on status. The proposal itself was very competitively priced. Juan was in charge of the execution and had the same responsiveness and communication. They were able to start Monday and complete both homes by Thursday as the weather was good to us. They did all permitting (took a few days) and scheduled the inspections. All the work was done without us having to be present. They set up a group text for communication once the construction started - - and were very responsive to inquiries as well as keeping us up to date. Having work done on your house is never fun, but this experience is as good as it gets.

They were referred to me by a neighbor and have an excellent reputation. They were the only roofing company that suggested adding more ventilation to my attic and other small suggestions that made the roofing job even better. They helped coordinate the roofing job with another company that specializes in insulation replacement while the roof was being torn off, so that the entire insulation job could be done from the roof instead of going through the house to access the attic. They also do custom copper gutter work. The communication from South Creek was excellent. It was easy to talk with Erika and Feliz (owner). South Creek is a family run company and not so big that they lack the personal touch. Very easy to work with and to make small changes as necessary when we uncovered some damage. I was really pleased that when replacing a few broken rafters, they took the time to prime all sides of the new rafters before installing. They also dropped off new fascia material for me to paint before they installed (much easier to paint on the ground!). They are very professional and easy to work with. The job turned out great. Everything is done with top notch quality, great attention to details, and exceptional workmanship. They carefully repaired two small sections of stucco and clapboard siding where the roof meets the wall, and also did an excellent job with the flashing throughout, including carefully seal off all corners to rodent proof the attic. The gutter installation was also excellent. They built wrap-around corners for a nice finished look, and carefully mounted and painted all the downspouts. Another example of their quality work is when they did the neat and beautiful pipework in the attic, when we needed them to reroute existing vents from one side of the roof to the other (preparation for solar panel installation.) They charged me for wood materials only for some dry rot found on my roof, so no surprises. I had some requests which is over and above their usual scope of work and they were able to accommodate them with no extra charges, such as adding 50 flashings for solar fastjacks, 6 nails per shingle, chimney cricket, 2x2 drip edges. Jose and Oscar also fixed any issues/defects I found after the work was completed before final city inspection. All in all, it was great working with them. Jose was very patient and explained to me whenever I had any questions. The work was completed in 5 days. I received 6 quotes for the project. They came in the middle of all the quotes. So pricing is also very reasonable.
