I wanted to put an exhaust on my new truck, so I asked Scott at Montebello Lube & Tune (another…read moremost excellent business!!) for a recommendation. He said to call Fabian at B & K Radiator & Muffler. I showed up and Fabian asked what I was looking for sound-wise, and he ran down my options. He even removed my stock muffler and let me hear all the possible muffler upgrades to help me make my decision. Who goes the extra mile limke that? Fabian does! Add to that, when it came time to decide between A or B, he never tried to over sell me. He told me honestly that the less expensive option was every bit as good as the "name brand" muffler, and that it has a longer life span as well. Decision made. They installed the muffler and my Ford sounds great! The price was right, the service was excellent and most importantly, honest. That means a lot. Exhaust or radiator issues? "Go now to the choppah!!" and see Fabian at B & K Radiator & Muffler. Thank me later!!

Our exhaust got damaged, and I was about to send our car to a mechanic, but my coworker told me to…read morego to "go to a muffler store. Just pick one and go. " We just needed it welded back on. I quickly did a Google search, and the first company I called was quite rude and pushy telling me they're closing soon so I can't tow my car that night (I wasn't going to anyway, but how rude) so I tried B & K. Fabian answered and was so nice. He actually told me to hurry and come before he closed and that he would take a look. I called on Friday night, and I was trying to find somebody and give them a heads up that I was going to tow in the morning.... Fabian won my business, obviously, and won my review. The whole process took a literal 10 minutes to weld. Just goes to show what a little kindness and good customer service get you. Maybe the other place was over packed and didn't care about losing business? If so, good for them. Either way, I strongly recommend B & K to all of you looking for great, quick, friendly service.

So I ordered it, they took my name and number & said they would call when ready. I call at 4:30 next day, they say it's not here. I said the part was coming from another place they recommended and they looked and it was there but they were closing at 5. So I go the next morning, guy at the window insists they don't have it. I ask him politely why they would tell me on the phone they have it, but now they don't. The gut stats to get angry and says "I don't know what to f---n tell you..if it says we don't have it we don't have it!!" I'm like..ok....he takes a call. I regain my thoughts and tell him after, look I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but if you're looking in the computer it's not going to be there, because i called and another place that you guys gave me their number, was going to send u the part and yesterday a i called at 4:30 and someone said it was here. The guy says "well if u talked to so and so, he's not here right now." At this point I almost gave up but luckily another younger guy was there who realized what it was about stepped in and asked me if it was for the Santa Fe. The part, and order form was in the shelf the entire time. Then the first guy rambles on, well that's a different story...you if it was coming from somewhere else now........ I paid and left. My advice to the manager if they have one, have your employees get a little more organized and be a bit more courteous to customers. I'd go back again, if it wasn't for being cursed at for no reason or fault of mine.

I removed the pump from the car, with mounting brackets, and brought the unit to Salgado. They disassembled the pump, advised what internal part was worn, and advised that they haven't any source for the internal part nor a core pump to take the internal part from. I took over from there, finding a rebuild pump online but having a $500 core charge. Salgado reassembled my bad pump and transferred the reservoir, pulley, and brackets onto the rebuilt pump - all for $25! All the time we were texting back and forth about the status and part searches. These are honest folks who have terrific customer service.
