Being from the IE I remember driving by the corner location and its many iterations throughout the years. The location is not going to win you over with its glamour but it will impress you with its food and service. We got there at 10ish on a Saturday so it was pretty full. We were seated at a table and the very charming waitress attended us immediately. I of course ordered a cup of coffee and a ham and egg sandwich. My granddaughter wanted the strawberry waffles. The food was prepared quickly considering the crowd and we proceeded to devour our breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was a big man size sandwich. None of this little kid size. It was delicious. The waffles were covered in strawberries and whipped cream. A six year olds dream come true. I had to help out of course. All in all a great experience in Fontana at Lucy's Dinner.
