King Furniture Restoration's Carlos Ramírez is a true professional: knowledgeable, fair price…read morequoted, honest, responsible & extremely kind. The type of artisan carpenter that is difficult to find; but they do exist. His work was so exceptional that I voluntarily paid him more than his quoted price. Carlos Ramírez repaired an old Chippendale camel-back sofa whose solid hard woodbase had collapsed. I had purchased the antique sofa 40+ years ago at an auction in Miami. I wanted to save it. The work required was a combination of carpentry, upholstery & furniture restoration (removing & reinstalling all the springs). Carlos Ramírez responded to my email promptly. He was able to assess the work through a number of detailed photographs I sent (where I tried to explain what was wrong with the sofa.) Within 24 hours after submitting my request, we agreed to have the work done in my home. The work was completed as promised on time. I could tell from watching him work that he wanted to ensure I was pleased with the end result. I chose Carlos Ramírez based on the perfect 5.0 rating he has earned on Google. I now add yet another 5.0 rating. If you require ANY work having to do with furniture, especially valued pieces or even antiques, make sure you hire Carlos Ramírez. Trust me; he's that good.

I can't say enough good things about how great a job Ken did on my bathtub! Back when I bought my…read morehouse in 2008, I was looking up folks that refinished bathtubs. Budget Bathtub Refinishing was on my list, but I ended up choosing a different guy because he was cheaper (I realized looking back that it was only a difference of $50 or less). What a huge mistake! That guy left drip marks on the side of the tub and enamel on my white tiles. And over the course of about 5 years, the thin coat he put on wore off and left the bathtub looking perpetually dirty. Fast forward to last year in 2021 when I decided to get the bathtub refinished again and took the recommendation of my plumber to have Ken do the job. In short, Ken was phenomenal! He spent 2-3 days meticulously scraping off every last bit of the old coating, as well as the white paint that was covering the pink towel rack and toilet paper holders. Then, he papered the necessary areas in the bathroom, suited up, and treated the bathtub with its original pink color. It came out gorgeous! And now a year later, still looks shiny and new. Don't bother working with anyone else - if you want your bathtub refinished, Ken is your man! He's reasonably priced, AND will do absolutely the best, highest quality job for you!
