We chose Florida Bathtub Refinishing to repaint our old walk in shower after seeing this was the highest and most rated company on Yelp and all 1,400 reviews on Google were 5 stars. When we first contacted them with my cell on their main line, I received a text back right away from their cell and we started texting back and forth from there. I sent pics and dimensions of my walk in shower and the manager gave me a quote and time till completion shortly after. We decided to book the job and their team was readily available. On day of the job, Daniel arrived exactly on time, was very polite and extremely knowledgable of the job. He was very careful and did the job perfectly and within the quoted time. They gave us a 5 year warranty and also mentioned exactly what product to use to help maintain the shower's cleanliness and keep it damage free for a long lasting result. The original price they gave us was excellent and they stuck to it after the job was complete, we paid by Zelle without issues. After all, we are happy to have chosen this company as it saved a lot of money by painting old tiles instead of changing them which would have cost 10x the price, or thousands of dollars. The company lives up to it's 5-star status and I'd recommend them to friends, family and readers of this review. read more

Reached out in late October for an estimate and appointment to refinish a basic tub, no response. Reached back out in December and got email asking for more info and pics as possible. Replied almost immediately and got no response again. Business must be overwhelming and my request failed to meet their help. Cannot recommend and would not suggest business to others. Hope your results vary .... read more

UPDATE!!!!! They all of a sudden state they DO NOT warrant/cover the soap dish should the paint start flaking etc....... Keep that in mind! *****Also even though they advertise Lifetime warranty, they are now questioning whether your repairs are material or man made damages. 6/03/25 first time I've heard of this. They have always fully covered and taken care of my bathtub repair. I had to pay $50 to repair my bathtub. Just keep that in mind. read more

I was so impressed by the results of having our master bath refinished by Florida Bathtub Refinishing that I had them refinish our guest bath. Once again George was prompt, professional in providing quote and scheduling. Daniel did an outstanding job, in prep, cleaning and refinishing. Amazing attention to detail. Diego did our work and George the owner answered all my questions. Incredibly cost effective and looks amazing. I was very skeptical but went forward with it due to budget constraints and a friend's recommendation. So glad I did. In one day I had a new bathroom. We went from original 1960s (and not cute!) tiles and tub to all white and looking brand new. Highly recommend. read more

Our experience with this company was fantastic! They were communicative, punctual, kind, respectful and they transformed our old bathroom to look amazing. I must mention: The final product, on the first round ,did not come out as I expected (rough finish instead of smooth with some type of stain forming) it so I reached out to the company (30 hours after they completed it since I wanted it to dry completely). With no hesitation, they sent out a tech to look at what our concern was and they took responsibility for it (technical issue with one of their spray guns). My husband and I are very understanding people and we just really appreciated the great customer service and how fast they came back to fix it. They re-did the whole bathtub and the final product came out impeccable this time. Thank you Daniel and Norberto for the neat work! Thank you Florida Bathtub Refinishing for listening to our concern and acting so promptly. It is rare to find great customer service nowadays (specially in Miami; yup I said it). I will be recommending this company to my friends and family. -Luisa and Anthony read more

They were very responsive and answered my questions in good detail. I sent them photos & they quoted the price, which was very reasonable. It took less than 4 hrs from start to finish and my bathtub look incredible! It's been 2 months since it was done and it still looks the same. I'm very happy with the result. I will warn the chemical odor is strong and lingered for a few days. read more

I got my tub painted by this company in 2019. However, the work done on my bathtub was subpar. I didn't want to be problematic the first time they painted my tub and complain about some texture that the technician left on my tub but when the paint started to dull and chip after just a year I got upset and regretted not saying anything. I called Jorge this year and sent him videos and pictures to get my tub redone since I was told the paint job had a warranty. I explained to Jorge that for a while I had thought the tub was dirty and that my cleaner was not working but that no matter how many times, I cleaned the tub or what I used to clean the tub it always looked dirty and that was when I realized it was not dirty but that the paint was coming off. He sent a technician to my home to review the tub and get the job done. The technician arrived 3 hours late and had the audacity to tell me that the chipping and dulling of the paint was my fault because I was using the green side of a soft sponge and soft scrub bathtub cleaner. He went on about how I am supposed to use the yellow side of the sponge and dawn soap to clean my tub and that the issue was not covered by the warranty since it was "my fault". I explained to him that the tub was 30 years old and had been cleaned that way for decades and that I had never had this problem before. He also denied that the paint was dulling in certain parts of the tub. He insisted that it was my fault, but I explained to him that it didn't make sense because if it were my fault then the paint would be dulling everywhere on the tub and not just 2 spots. In the end, he kept rolling his eyes at me, denying that the paint job had problems, and kept blaming the issues on my cleaning methods. All in all, I was never told about the special care the tubs needed after a paint job and the company never advised it via text, email, or on the receipt (which i kept). I will be calling another company to finish the job they could not get done right. Moral of the story: the warranty the company offers their clients is useless and if you have any issues with the paint job after they leave your home expect to have to pay for the job to be done again by another company. read more

Florida Bathtub Refinishing - Tub and tile used to be ivory and now they're sparkly white! (Ignore the wall and the toilet...we are finishing renovations!) - Refinishing Services Near Me - Miami, Florida

Good quick service at a reasonable price. They refinished a beige bathtub I needed white to match new bathroom fixtures. Bathtub looks great - nice and shiny and smooth. They even put in a shiny new drain. They worked very clean and left everything spotless. Only glitch we had was the anti-slip finish on the bottom of the tub which I did not know would leave that area feeling like sandpaper. But they promptly removed it when I complained about it and its now shiny smooth. Jorge was great to work with - prompt response and got on the job immediately. If you want to bathe and "lay" in the tub - I would forego the anti-slip if possible. read more

Another owner in my building saw my bathtub and suggested that Florida Bathtub Refinishing might resolve the several chipped spots on the tub. I checked out the company, called them, got a quote to paint the entire tub, and made an appointment for the work to be done yesterday. Diego, the technician, showed up right on time, explained some details of his task, easily resolved a slight misunderstanding, and completed the work in a couple hours. Diego is an artist...the tub looks as if it is brand shiny new! The chips have disappeared and the color is perfect. A job beautifully done. I have already highly recommended Florida Bathtub Refinishing to others. read more

I am happy I called. After asking for a call back on Yelp I got a quick return call the next business day. The phone interaction was concise and professional. The refinishing of my standard bathtub was very affordable and came in at $185. Our tub was old and had some cracks and all were repaired and looking great. I have a white tub on white tile. If I had one compliant it would be they applied some porcelain refinishing to the first row of tile around my tub ...and then it did not match the rest. However, I called and they came back out and did all my tiles for a reasonable rate. Pricing for this is in the $200-250 based on size, and really worth it. Overall I am glad I called. When you compare the costs of refinishing versus vinyl covering or total replacement, it's a no brainer. I would recommend Florida Bathtub and Refinishing. read more

In my eyes this company deserves 6 stars! After extensive research of companies online, and quote requests from a dozen companies, florida bathtub definitely wins! I was able to receive a very reasonable quote and schedule an appointment all via email! (Important for those of us who can't call from 9-5 for our personal things) no matter what time I would email them to ask any question, they would respond rapidly. (Yes, even at 8pm). They are bonded and insured and very friendly and professional. A few days prior to service, my building advised that I could only have workers come during the weekday, 8am-5pm. I immediately wrote to fl bathtub and they rescheduled me with no problems whatsoever! And also quickly faxed insurance info directly to my management office, saving me time, every, and worries. Eduardo, the man who did the work is extremely professional! He arrived 15 minutes prior to his scheduled time, and was gone within two hours! Not a single drop or splatter to be found! This company is wonderful and I highly recommend anyone needing to give their bath tub a face lift, to call or email them. Oh! They also offer a lifetime warranty. I'm still in shock how my bathtub looks! read more

Glad I did it. So sparkling white. Totally worth it if you have old outdated tiles and want a fresh look.

This company did a great job refinishing my bathtub pan. Before they refinished the surface, the pan looked like something out of a hospital or old cruise ship (my wife's description). After the refinishing, it look like a complete renovated brand-new shower pan that looks even better than something out of the store display. I'm very happy with the outcome and the company itself. read more

It was a pleasure dealing with Florida Bathtub Refinishing. My first contact was with Riojana, who answered my many questions, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work. I have an old tub at my beach house in Florida that had been sprayed by a different company (I really wish I could name the guy and his company because he was the absolute worst and I would never, ever recommend him. My tub started peeling within 1 month after he sprayed it and is now completely shredding in strips after only 1.5 years). In any event, George from Florida Bathtub Refinishing was incredibly friendly, helpful, professional, etc. He explained the entire process, was available when I needed him and was so reasonably priced. Eric came to the house with his team and did an amazing job at stripping and refinishing my old tub and spraying all of the tile walls as well. Our neighbor stopped by and said it looked brand new! This is a great company and I highly recommend them. In fact, I am now going to use them to refinish my old linoleum countertops in the beach house and I know they are going to look amazing! read more
