I gifted this restaurant 4 stars for the food alone, and zero stars for the non-existant service. The salad was huge and even larger than some of the prepared salads that I bought at a salad chain restaurant in the U.S. It was packed with several vegetables, as well as ,the Greek dressing which made all the difference I also ordered an over-priced mineral water to go along with the salad.

This is the perfect type of thing to highlight the pride and creativity of Mexican cuisine; you are in one of the greatest food cities in the world. The interior is like a comfy Mexican study. They even called to give us some instructions cause of a protest across the street at the Venezuelan embassy for easier access. Our courses were absolutely delicious. My wife and mother-in-law got the 6-course tasting menu and I went with the 9. If you like a tasting menu or want to introduce someone to the experience, Raiz does not disappoint. The amuse bouche is one of my favorites, cause I love looking at people's faces when they get such a small appetizer. I am not going to post all of the dishes here, cause part of the experience is the sensory look of the plates, but I will say the pork belly and escamole were two of my favorites.
