I had a lot of work done there last year. The hygienist did a genuinely good job, but the office pushes very hard to upsell crowns. They even charged me incorrectly and couldn't return the money, so they forced me into a credit toward a future crown. It feels like they focus more on selling crowns than on patient choice. I arrived 20 minutes early for my first appointment with this practice. As I am getting out of my car my cellphone rings and the person on the line starts talking as soon as I say hello. Without any introduction to who this is starts explaining that they are having some issues with the "operatives ". I of course ask who is speaking. " Oh sorry this is so and so with Morsmiles, would you be able to come in at 2:50 instead of 2:00. Mind you I am in the parking lot and it is 1:40. I reply are you kidding me and I am in the parking lot! I had to drive 40 minutes to get to this location, not to mention that it is the middle of the afternoon. I have waited ALL day for this appointment, point being they could have called earlier. What an unprofessional operation this is. After reading similar reviews about this office I knew I needed to warn others to stay away! ( I read the reviews AFTER my unpleasant experience... too late.) This was my first and definitely will be my last visit. My original appointment time of 9am got changed multiple times by text. At no point in time did anyone call and ask if it would be okay to change the appointment to 8am. I called and asked why I was getting conflicting times and was told they had temporary hygienists so it had to change. I said a phone call would have been nice, not happy about this, but I kept the appointment. Then I get there and they tell me I need a full mouth series of xrays, though my panorex and Bitewings had been sent. Those xrays were not even two months old, not the recommended ADA guidance and pretty ridiculous to require them, but I drove over an hour to get there so I really wanted my teeth cleaned. The cleaning was subpar and I did not appreciate having my hygienists belly rubbing my head And side of my face. Then to top everything off Dr. Malay comes in and isn't very pleasant. He was rough with his exam. just an all around bad experience. I have been to a few other offices in Lancaster county and can assure you there are much better places to go and you will most likely get better results. read more

I'm not sure how you get banned from a dentist but my mother was banned because she just wanted her crowns fixed and now can't make appointments anymore after the fact they weren't done right and kept giving her issues. I come here myself for regular appointments but I will be politely removing myself and going somewhere else. Very disappointed. read more

I really wanted to love this place. The reviews seemed so good. The hygienist and office staff were very friendly and I was taken back on time. But a full set, cleaning and chat with the dentist took over two hours. I told them I had two problem areas (needed redone from the last dentist) and I was pushed out of the office without booking an appointment to fix these problems that are causing me discomfort! I feel like I was trying to be upsold Botox... I just didn't feel like my problem was a priority. They also didn't offer to clean my mouth guard and they didn't floss my bottom teeth... Never wrote a bad review but I think this time I have to. I came to this office the first time by the appointment scheduled, was seen by the doctor, and got her opinion regarding my dental plan. That's OK. But I decided to get a second opinion because I was sure I have the right to do so. A couple of weeks later I called another office to schedule the doctor's visit. I did not know that they are the second office of the same clinic because the office had a different name. I explained that I need a second opinion. And after long waiting, I surprisingly knew that the clinic decided to dismiss me. Why? I was trying to check with the manager but he/she never called me back. I've never been rude, abusive, or something like that. So, the conclusion is only one: this clinic does not want people who want to get a second opinion. He did 4 root canals for me 10 years ago and 2 have already failed and needed pulled. Waste of money. I'm just waiting for the other 2 to fail now. I went in for a cleaning and they refused to clean my teeth until I signed up for a dental plan that would cost around 10k. I just wanted my regular cleaning. Stay away from this dentist. work is suspect and they have very shady business practices. They have been sending me a bill for months and I kept telling them that this isn't right my insurance already paid you for at least some of the bill. It was a bill for 3 different visits. The one I told them the EOB says paid. only when I sent them a copy of the EOB did they now say they will try and rectify the bill. They should have copies of the EOB. I had to spent so much of my time to try and get them to fix this. As of now it is still not fixed. I wouldn't use them if they were the last dentist on the planet. I am sure some of their patients just paid the bill when they could be overcharging people. read more

Let me just start by saying that my fear of dentistry is far above and beyond anything. I have let my teeth and health go for a very long time and when it came time to go to my appointment with Doctor Moriarty I wanted to cancel. They took a $50 deposit to keep the appointment and that was the best thing that could have happened to me. I went to the appointment very nervous and within minutes of being there I was very relaxed, the staff are very warm and welcoming. I was thinking of getting dentures and by coming here, and let me say everyone there knows their job,and the job Doctor Moriarty does found out with my insurance that I could get a complete set of implants. 4 months later and I have already had my surgery which I was so excited to go and have done. The entire staff made me feel comfortable. I now have my temporary teeth until everything heals properly and I already have a great deal of confidence in myself, my self esteem level went from the basement to through the roof. I find myself smiling in the mirror everyday and speaking with my head held high instead of looking down. I will forever be grateful for Doctor Moriarty and the entire staff at Mor Smiles. They are like my new family and I look forward to going back every time. If I had to go through it all again I would do so 100x over at Mor smiles. Thank you everyone at Mor smiles. read more

Went to another dentist and am glad I did. The hygienists neglected to clean the tarter and I had large deposits that were there for quite some time. They seem to go through hygienists very quickly. Went here for less invasive pinhole surgery to address receding gums. Well learned the hard way that periodontists specialize in this area and not to go to a general dentist for specialized care. Paid $9000 for one dental implant and gum surgery and the implant failed (never healed in my jaw so still no tooth) and the gums are exactly where I started. Getting ready to spend another chunk of cash to have a periodontist fix my issue correctly. Absolutely no resolution calling the office multiple times. They also offer conscious sedation for $500 an hour. Their medications for resuscitation in case you code (heart stops) are in a damn Stanley tool box! I received so much Valium in 3 hours it was more than someone my height and weight should receive in a 24 hour period and was so disoriented for 24 hours!! I know this because I am an emergency nurse practitioner and I know how things should be done and how much medication is safe- hint it is not 30 mg of Valium in 3 hours. The day of my procedure I realized I should walk away and I still don't know why I didn't listen to my gut. You wouldn't let your family doc take out your appendix, don't go to a dentist for gum surgery, implants, Botox or anything other than general dentistry. read more

Worst place EVER! I went to this Dentist for a second opinion. They canceled my appt. 2 times. Second time, I arrived on time & they said the girl who was to review my dental plan had just arrived (11:00) & couldn't see me after I drove all the way out there! So, I asked for the plan to be mailed to me. Never received it so I called twice & left a message to mail it. No response. I had also asked for my x-rays to be mailed to my dentist.
