We took a stroll today through the centro and decided to stop here for lunch. We each tried something different and were pleasantly surprised by every choice. One thing I noticed is that the staff can get by in English. They put up with my attempt to use my weeks worth of Italian. I made a blunder here and there, but they were patient to figure out what I was trying to get at. This is already my second visit and I know I will be back. We didn't notice any hair-of-the-dog patrons working off their hangovers, and the patrons all seemed to know each other pretty well and were enjoying the quintessential Italian breakfast we know and love as a caffe and brioche. We were definitely the oddball Americans, which is fine with us. Seating along the wall is 'cozy' and the family of baristas friendly, with the older generation actively tending the register and welcoming customers.
