At first I was a little nervous to take a digital class, but PJ was great at explaining movements to us so we could see her vision. She was really great at mixing what she envisioned, what I wanted based on videos I found, and what we were comfortable/looked good doing. The time we spent together learning it was so much fun and we weren't nervous at all to perform in front of our friends. Having a choreographed first dance was such a special moment for us and our guests, and also added to the fairytale atmosphere of our wedding. We would do it all over again!

It was challenging, but the teachers made me feel comfortable and extremely welcomed. What a wonderful thing to have in Denver. I was visiting family during Thanksgiving break and wanted to check out some local salsa teachers…read more The room is very larger and the group starts off with some basic salsa and bachata steps before breaking into groups for different skill levels. This is a little different than other classes but makes sense. It allows all skill levels to take class at the same time where normally it is just one class for a certain level. Eddie then rotates to each group that is being lead by an apprentice. After the instruction part ends, the larger group gets back in a big circle. Music is played and the ladies rotate partners every 30-45 seconds for a few songs. This then gives the students a chance to practice what they just learned. Last but not least is a social dance for a couple hours or so. Overall my experience was great and was able to learn a couple new moves. What I liked best was how we were shown 3/4 different ways to the same move but from different hand hold, shoulder grab, or waist. I think this would help a lot of dances be able to do something slightly different without having to know a lot of moves.

I wish I could come to this more often, but I kinda live too far away to continue attending (and didn't love Denver enough as a whole to be visiting much). I wanted to dock a star because I did not enjoy navigating here or parking (there are only 3-6 legitimate spaces for multiple classes, of which ours was 7; the rest are all labeled as tow away and you just risk it with the assumption it's fine? I am not a fan of that).
