Unfortunately, our experience was extremely concerning and unprofessional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the staff lacked proper training and experience in administering IVs. I am in the healthcare industry and can confidently say that the individuals performing these procedures did not appear to meet the qualifications or follow the safety protocols required by Florida law. After paying close to $500 for two IVs, my blood pressure was recorded at 160/111, yet the staff proceeded with the IV. I specifically told the young woman not to use my left arm because it's difficult to find a vein there, but she ignored me and kept probing until she gave up. She then switched to my right arm, even though I told her I wasn't feeling well and needed to lie down. Despite my warning about using small veins for 25,000 mg of Vitamin C, she continued -- and shortly afterward, I lost consciousness. Paramedics were called, and I was transported to Dr. Phillips Hospital, where the nurse immediately noticed that the IV line placed by Vitalounge was still wide open. The nurse removed it right away, noting that leaving a line open like that could have led to a serious infection. I was hospitalized for three days. Throughout this ordeal, no one from Vitalounge ever called to check on my condition. When I reached out after being discharged to request a refund (since neither I nor my wife received the IV service), the person I spoke with refused to provide her name and declined to issue a refund. She only provided a generic email address for "corporate" and refused to identify any manager. This experience was unacceptable, unsafe, and unprofessional. I strongly urge the Florida Department of Health to inspect this facility. Patients deserve to feel safe and cared for -- not put at risk due to poor training and negligence. How can they keep the money for something they never did, or the patient or person received or obtain. To me that is called a scam or thief.

The lady at the front desk was not too friendly, as if she did not want anyone to come in. I asked about the shot membership. She said It's only for lipotropic. I pulled it up on their own website to show it and then she had she had to call the owner to ask about it. The owner also said on the phone she had never heard of such thing so she asked the front desk lady to take a picture of my phone of her own website and send it to her. I sat there waiting for an answer if I was gonna get a membership or not , when I meanwhile started looking on Google and found out there's another IV place right across the street. They offer great package deals, so I left and went to sign up at the other business. This place was obviously not interested in me as a customer. I received the collagen pen microneedling paired with red light therapy and wow, the best I've had. This is my 4th time doing microneedling in general, but first time at MK Wellness. The first 3 times were at a well known derm clinic with the skin pen. It was ok, but I didn't really feel or see a huge difference in my skin each time. The redness would be gone within a few hours and still had skin discoloration. But at MK with the collagen pen and red light therapy - wowza! My face was definitely red for 36 hours, but absolutely worth it. By day 2-3, my skin literally peeled a light layer off and revealed the most porcelain, smooth skin.
