Didn't wait too long before being seen. Eventually I had my ears flushed out to fix the problem and was visited by their nurse practitioner. They have a number of students working here so they can learn on the job, and I think that's a good idea for this location. They ended up prescribing me some medication since I had an infection in both ears leading to ear canal inflammation. Overall, liked the service I received. It's nice to see a locally managed and run place compared to all the chain facilities. Would come again if I ever need any other help.

I had a major bladder infection, Group A Strep infection, that caused nerve toxcity, Hypoxia, Acute Respitory Failure plus injuries, head trauma that came with MULTIPLE surgeries the next year. My initial appointment with them , I explained in detail what I knew sounded like a "crazy" story but sometimes things can happen to people, and they should be taken very seriously it almost cost me my life. Plus with all the above I was struggling with my cognition and ability to walk and communicate effectively. Instead of being concerned or care for my well being they choose to humiliate me verses taking the opportunity to learn from their grave mistake. They sent me to the private Oviedo ER where the lead doctor of urgent care also worked at as an ER doctor, without updating my proper meds and that very same ER forced meds I had informed them I was allergic to MULTIPLE times along with my adult daughter and did not run the test or imaging I had requested. Due to the findings from a recent medical check, I had to have an outpatient surgery done…read more Everything was set up, I received updates from my appointments and the surgery via both calls from the scheduling team, the doctor's office and also via Epic MyChart which is the helpful tool where you can track all medical care, notes and such easily via the phone app or your computer. I arrived at 630a the day of my surgery, was taken back into the prepping area where nurse Gemma got me all ready for my procedure, took my readings, checked up on me to ensure everything was ready to go and to ensure I was feeling at ease. There was also nurse Amy who came in, prepping me and another whose name I cannot recall but each one of them truly were wonderful. The level of care I was provided helped ease any anxiety or worries which could have gotten a hold of me. Dr. Sefton, the anesthesiologist came by to introduce himself, explain how he was going to provide his skills towards my care, informed me of what exactly he would monitor me for to ensure I was not feeling nauseous after the anesthesia I would be provided. A short bit after, Dr. Kemp came in to also go through how she was going to assist my health with the surgery I was going to have. My loved ones were brought in to sit with me for a bit before I was moved into the operating room, given some good drugs and I don't recall anything until I was moved into PACU for recovery. While in the PACU, my loved ones were able to come in as a nurse monitored me to make sure there were no aftereffects happening, I was dressed up once everything was clear that I was feeling well enough to head home, and my visit to the Outpatient was pleasantly done. I was given clear instructions on how to treat my procedure area and what to expect. I arrived home by noon time, shortly after took a nap and have not felt any nausea or pain at all. I was able to sleep well in my own bed, woke up today in great spirits and feeling wonderful considering all that has happened a short while ago. I went onto MyChart and read through all the clinical notes posted by Dr. Kemp where everything is clearly outlined so I can easily track my care.

During the first few appointments Tammy showed such kindness, patience, grace and offered us so much comfort that we will be eternally grateful. This then began a long insurance process unbeknownst to both myself and the Dr, however, when I asked to cancel the prior auth for the brand name and just refill my generic migraine meds, he continues to say he will "put a request in and ask the doctor for a recommendation". I explained that's what I had been advocating for & that it's been 3 weeks of back and forth phone calls while I'm working with these debilitating migraines.
