Recently, I brought my brother's older Jeep Cherokee here for an inspection and estimate to repair…read moresome rot I found on the frame and chassis. One of the gas tank supports was severely rotted, as well as the rear frame rails. I did not know that they do rust repair, until I was referred here. The owner, Ricky Barrette, was very sympathetic and respectful to my younger brother, who actually owns the Jeep. My brother had a stroke and cannot speak, so I dealt with Rick on my brother's behalf. Within a couple days of dropping off the Jeep at the shop, Rick had a very detailed estimate ready, complete with photos, and took time out of his very hectic day to review the estimate with me in person. The inspection was so thorough that he and his welder, Josh, discovered some other areas of rot that I had missed when I had my brother's Jeep up on a lift a couple week earlier (and I thought I was thorough). Bottom line, the Jeep would have needed a lot of rust repair, which would involve dropping the gas tank and removing carpeting. The estimate was fair and reasonable, considering the large amount of work that would be involved. After discussing it between my mom, brother and I, we decided that the Jeep was not worth repairing, and will sell it for parts. Although we didn't have any work done by Barrette, I was highly impressed by the level of thoroughness and professionalism. I am a tradesperson and have done estimates myself for fairly complex repair projects on peoples' homes, and I believe that someone who takes the time to be so thorough on an estimate, will also be as thorough on the actual work.

Within an hour or so Dan (the owner) called us and arranged an appointment for later that afternoon. Dan and Ken arrived on time. Together we discussed and analyzed the project, they took measurements, made a materials list and, because it was late Friday afternoon, Dan said he would contact me with a proposal on Tuesday the following week. He did so, we agreed, and they started work on Wednesday. Everything went flawlessly, the workmanship superb, they left everything clean and then returned the next day to finish one more duct run. I can say truthfully this was one of the best business transactions I have ever had. I recommend them very highly.

Very unprofessional and rude. Whenever we left a message for him it would take a couple weeks…read morebefore getting a call back. This happened a few times until we finally made an appointment. This guy never said where he was working from when we called them and when he called us back unless we asked. We had an appointment with him today to come give us a quote on some venting work and he did not show up. When we called a half hour later there was a weird message and then he called us back from a different number and just said who's this. I explained we had an appointment today and he said he was home with the kids and couldn't leave. So I said that he could have called to let us know since my husband got out of work a bit earlier to make sure he got home on time and he said "No he didn't." What is up with that unprofessionalism? It also seems to us like it's just one person who works for this company. (He basically called me a liar)
