The fries were actually pretty good, but the fish was mediocre. The batter slid right off the fish as soon as I lifted it from the container--almost like it didn't have time to rest or was pulled out of the fryer too soon. Still, it tasted okay, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to try again. The second time, I ordered via DoorDash. I got lemon pepper wings, fries, and what was supposed to be their version of bang bang shrimp. Sadly, everything was awful. The chicken looked old and had a dark color, strange smell, and an off taste--like it hadn't been cooked fresh. My son, who liked the fries the first time, refused to eat them this time, which should've been a red flag. The shrimp was drenched in a mystery sauce that had nothing to do with real bang bang shrimp, and it reeked of old grease. Everything had this stale, greasy odor, like the fryer oil hadn't been changed in way too long. I even took photos of the food before touching it--and it looked as bad as it tasted. At this point, I'd never order from here again. Honestly, it felt like a health inspection is overdue. If you care about food quality, freshness, or flavor--skip this place. They seriously need to shut it down and start fresh with a whole new kitchen team.

However, we heard buzz about them on some of the Clermont pages in Facebook and decided to stop in on a random Saturday. The shop is super cozy with plenty of comfy ouches and tables plus bar seating, so no worries about finding space (yet). They have a great setup with tons of TVs and music while you smoke; this is a great spot for groups or a solo adventure. And their selection of hookah flavors is really strong all with a reasonable price. We tried Love66, which was just delightful. The best thing? Their staff is awesome. They were attentive without being intrusive and offered tons of suggestions. They were prompt with offers of drinks and refills--and also filled us in on some of the history of how they ended up opening a hookah bar. Just all around a wonderful experience! One note: If you want a full bar, they are not there yet. However, they had plenty of beer, seltzer and generic drink options to pick while you enjoy your hookah.
