Well they say that men don't have any stores of their own When the BF was looking for something…read moresharp and new I suggested for him to take a peek at this place. They must be doing something right being open and available for over 40 years. Alot of experience in this place. Great style as soon as you walk in .Staff dressed to the nines and ready to help. sometime it is worth the extra $$ to get the attention and detail from a speciality store. Vogue has all men's fashions from suite up. Now these are not your average suites that you will find in the malls these are ones that when you walk in the room you will be notice. From custom to off the rack they are made with detail and quality. Shifts ties as well as sweaters or even casual wear that has style they have it all.Now this all comes with a price of course. But if you want to look good stand out in a crowd drop on by the old fashion men's club for a real suit.

Even though we had not purchased our items from here, they were more than pleased to tailor them for us for a reasonable price. We were impressed that the owner and others we met in the location were attentive, knew their business extremely well and offered advice to ensure the work would turn out well. Had we gone elsewhere, I would not have known to keep the euro hem in my new jeans, my husband's sport coat would have been taken in at the wrong seams, and I know his two nice shirts would have been a mess. Everything turned out better than I expected and we have found several other items that we will be taking in over the coming weeks. The fact that the work was done on time, in just a couple of days was also a very bug plus! We enjoyed the conversation while there and the on hand clothing selection is quite nice. The collection of ties is diverse and colourful. There is a little something for all tastes, the staff are up on trends, the selection is all higher quality and last summer there was a nice splash of bright colors we hadn't found elsewhere in Halifax. I highly recommend this location to any one, male or female, looking for a quality tailor who truly cares about his clients and his earning his good reputation!

Great looking clothes at deep discounts 2. Great selection in a wide variety of sizes 3. Store is attractively laid out 4. Mannequins show outfits that I never would have thought to put together 5. The email coupons- sign up for them The cons: 1. Staff seem to go out of their way to avoid helping for the most part 2. The outlet line is not quite up to the same standard as the regular retail line Overall I was very pleased with my shopping experience. Don't go in expecting to be greeted immediately at the door and assisted throughout your entire shopping experience as you are at the BR flagship stores because it's not going to happen- it is an outlet after all. The quality of the outlet line is slightly lower than the flagship line, but still on par with Gap or better. I was able to put together several outfits in under 30 minutes and left feeling as though my time there had been well spent.

I am glad that it's an outlet, because not only are the prices really good, but I actually prefer their selection to that of the main store in the Shopping Center, which I feel is geared towards women about 15-20 years older than me. Being so close I've learned to wait for good sales and have scored some major deals. My only issue with the store is that I find the turnover of clothes can be a little slow, but I find the get enough new pieces in regularly to keep me coming back.

Very poor customer service experience at the Dartmouth Marshalls tonight…read more I was doing Christmas shopping and brought my own reusable bags, which I placed on the counter at checkout. The cashier scanned all of my items and did not bag anything. After paying, I asked if my items would be bagged and was told no. I was informed that staff are not allowed to bag items if customers bring their own bags and that items are only bagged if you purchase a Marshall's bag. Reusable bags are supposed to exist for environmental reasons, yet this policy feels like nothing more than a money grab. Marshall's no longer provides bags, but then refuses to bag items when customers bring their own. That makes no sense and certainly does not feel customer‑friendly, nor does it feel like its being done for the environment. Marshall's has always been one of my favorite stores, but this experience made me seriously question that and now I am wondering where customer service has gone. I have never had an experience like this at any other Marshalls location. Extremely disappointing!

I wasn't sure what to expect when I headed to Marshalls, but I was told it was "like Winners but better!". So I thought: "Okay, sounds good to me. Winners is pretty good!"and I headed out. But friends, don't be deceived - Winners and Marshalls are pretty much the same thing. (Annnd apparently they're owned by the same company) The layouts are the same, the signage is the same, the selection is the same and the staff were basically non-existent, except for the burly security guard that side-eyed everyone who walked in. Even after walking in and thinking "This looks just like Winners.", I gave it a chance. I saw so many folks walking out of the store and around Dartmouth Crossing with Marshalls bags that I thought it must have some good deals. Well, maybe. I'm a larger lady so I headed right to the plus section...or should I say the plus rack. There was one double-sided rack. There were about 20 shirts in different sizes. They were mostly black, or gray, or another dark colour, and they were just kinda enh. The pants weren't any better. I looked around, thinking maybe I was missing something, but no dice. I really found nothing there that made me excited or made me think "Ohhh! I'll be back!" Not sure what all the fuss was about, but unless I hear something better from a trusted shopping companion, I'll stick to other stores.

They opened the fitting room for my sister and five minutes before the store was closing they started harassing my sister and parents to leave the store because it was closing. We were not planning on staying longer than the closing time but they were kind of making us feel super bad and made us walk all around on the outside of the mall to our car. The old lady was especially rude and I would even go to say they were both racist. Kept repeating the mall is closed like we didn't understand English. Super disappointed and never shopping at the Mic Mac Hudson Bay because of this experience.

My visits to The Bay are almost exclusively for their perfume and cologne department. They have one of the widest ranges I've ever seen (making up for my first unsuccessful stop at Shoppers), the staff knows their stuff, and just about anything comes with random gifts-with-purchase that make nice add-ons to your planned Christmas shopping.
