I would say they were expensive, but everything is now. The 999 trees were still cheaper than Home Depot. All proceeds go to the Scouts of 999. Support these boys and girls!

Of recent years, their quality of tree selection has been top notch. The trees are displayed nicely on stands so you can see the tree all the way around with ease. We chose a Noble Fir last year and a Nordman this year; there are various tree sizes to choose from, and we went with 7-8 ft in height. It feels good to support youth and this fundraiser for their scout camps and activities. Prices are on par when compared to other tree lots, too.

Nobel Fir Trees sold for $53 (thats with tax!) and that is the most expensive tree they have. A great selection. And great kids there to help you with making a fresh cut, help to your car and the money helps their troop out! We had gone to another tree lot in town but they wanted $100 for a similar tree! At least we know where our money was going when we went to Troop 900's lot. Its in the mini-mall on East Ave (same as Terra Mia & Pit Stop BBQ) They do take checks - and cash is always welcome. I first discovered KR Farms when they were open for Winterland and immediately fell in love with…read morethe place. When I learned that they also have a pumpkin patch, I decided to host my son's 6th birthday party there, and I'm so thankful I did! The birthday party was a huge success, and everyone had a great time. KR Farms easily accommodated our large group of 30+ guests, and we were able to bring our own beverages, catered food, snacks, and cupcakes. There are so many activities to keep both kids and adults entertained, including bounce houses, a corn maze, a petting zoo, gem mining, arcade games, and so much more. There's also a great variety of pumpkins for guests to choose from. The party picnic tables were located in a shaded area under a tent, which was a must for a sunny September party and gave our guests a comfortable place to eat, relax, and celebrate between activities. Tawny, Keri, and the rest of the staff made the planning process so easy. They let me visit before opening day to see our setup area, which gave me a great feel for the space and helped me plan everything in advance. They were also happy to let us use tape and scissors to hang our balloons and party sign. From planning to the day of the party, the team was responsive, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. KR Farms is a wonderful, family-friendly pumpkin patch and a must-visit during the autumn and Halloween season. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

But because I needed something to do in the area before my first Yelp Elite Experience nearby, I found this pumpkin patch! First off, there's a LOT for your kids to do and we just paid for the Fun Zone package which was like $24ish? It didn't include the gem mining which was honestly the only thing my kid really liked after I had to pay another $5 for it. The staff was super friendly though, but clearly for a weekday, they're not going to be fully staffed so the snack shack wasn't staffed. To caveat: my kid isn't a fan of bounce houses but I knew he would maybe enjoy the corn pit, the farm animals, the arcade and the pedal cars but 1) the corn pit was smaller than expected and was full of corn weevils (which ChatGPT helped me identify are harmless beetles but still gross), 2) there were only two goats and we didn't have coins to dispense the goat food but they were cute and bleated at us constantly after I managed to feed them some goat food off the floor (sorry!), 3) the arcade was "too loud" for my kid, 4) and the pedal cars wouldn't work. Womp womp. He did enjoy the gem mining and the Tetris Tumbler game and he did enjoy the corn pit until we discovered all the bugs. I would've given this 3 stars had the staff not been so kind and friendly and even gifted us a free ginormous pumpkin?!?!

I managed to push the cart to the pay counter, went to the wrong side, the clerk didn't even step out of her room to help me re-route to the right payment side though seeing me with a full cart. And mind you, I am a very petite Asian. She then claimed DV rose pots were not on sale and that I didn't talk to the right Rose specialist! I demanded for them to honor the price because I drove a while to get there. She finally agreed after confirming with her "Rose Specialist". Perhaps she was not aware her attitude was NOT friendly/helpful ... when she was in a front position representing the Nursery. She only thanked me and got better after I paid almost $400. The man who helped me pushed the cart to my car however was humble and nice. I appreciated him. Overall I didn't like to be ignored and my experience there was not pleasant this time. Unlike at other Nurseries, everyone who saw me picked up anything heavy, they came right away to offer help.
