As I walked through the gate today my heart sank as I saw a sold sign on the perfect tree. I was just maybe 20 minutes too late. Somebody by the name of Leyi got there before I did. This perfect tree looked so nice it should have been kept as a display. Perfect symmetry, and no trimmed ends anywhere and the angle in which the branches pointed slightly upward was simply stunning. I usually get a tree from here for the past many years. Silver Tips are selling out very fast and are almost gone. WARNING!! Buy now - permits to cut down were lessened this year and a snowstorm of biblical proportions prevented a second wave of inventory. Seraj helped me pick out a tree. He pointed to a fresh shipment of Fraser Furs as he knew I was a bit bummed about the tree Leyi snapped up from under my nose. I didn't get there with my box of chocolates quick enough. We went to the back and found the tallest Silver Tip they had. It was the one. He gave it a fresh cut and then Stacy helped load. It was a very fast and pleasant experience. I'm not sure why but they have the most beautiful trees here of many different varieties. I finally got my tree today - and at this point I recommend you do the same. There are not that many more shopping days till Christmas. read more

Only issue was I asked seller to make a fresh cut,(it was already in a stand which came with the tree), and seller said I didn't need to do that. It drank very little water but stayed pretty fresh. Picked out my tree and paid. Young kid was ready with the tree immediately and I asked if they gave us a fresh cut on the base, he said yes. After a day, the tree has not drank any water and I'm going to have to take it down and cut the base myself because the guy was too lazy and lied about giving it a cut so it could drink water and not become kindling in the next week. Will never come back as the help sucks and lies. read more

Boyfriend and I bought our first real Christmas tree this year to celebrate our Christmas baby's first birthday. We wanted to make sure it was extra special. Since it was our first time buying a tree, we had no idea what we were doing or even looking for when we got to the lot. The guy who helped us was super nice so that made it easier on us. We ended up getting a tree that was too big so we had to trim the top off (blasphemy, I know) and we also trimmed some off the bottom. There were some droopy and broken branches but I assume that's to be expected when getting a live tree. The flocking is beautiful! They even sent us photos of the progress just in case we wanted to add more flock. We bought the tree on Wednesday evening and it was ready for pick up by Friday afternoon. We're definitely coming back next year! read more

We just got our tree from this lot; it's petite but well-stocked and has silver tip trees, which the first lot we went to in oakland did not. Parking was easy and the prices seemed reasonable. Lastly, the family who operates this spot are all warm and friendly - and the man who helped us pick, trim and load our tree was very patient with our 5 year olds endless questions. I picked a cute 5 foot tree for my mom. And she approved! I was pleasantly surprised by quantity and selection. If you are looking for larger trees there were plenty as of Dec 16. Love the people here and the selection was fantastic! We had been to two other lots and the remaining trees were definitely left there for a reason. The gentleman helping us dug through the stack of bundled trees to find a really full 7'-8' noble fir. I swear it is much taller. Great selection! Wanted a silver tip and Simoni's is not local this year. Tried Brent's in Oakland, it was very expensive ($350+ for a 10ft tree) and had limited selection. This place on Park in Alameda just a couple of blocks from the bridge. Easy parking (off street). Good selection of trees of all types. We were able to find a nice one quickly and then wanted to see one that was still bundled. They were very nice about opening up the tree for us and then netted it for us when we decided to keep it. It was $138 for a 10ft tree. Will keep this place in mind for next year. read more

I was clueless about Christmas tree care and didn't know that you couldn't let it run out of water otherwise it will sap up and start to dry out, due to inability to take in water. Really beautiful trees! This Christmas tree merchant is very upfront about pricing and doesn't offer bells and whistles in the way of flocking, a bouncy house for the kids, or anything else like that. What they do have are beautifully fresh and fragrant trees. We come here every year, and we don't intend on going anywhere else anytime soon. read more

I have purchased a tree here for the past three years because they have beautiful Silver Tips at a reasonable price. They also have Noble Firs. Parking is easy. The owner and employees are friendly and helpful. Honestly I am not a person to go out there to write a review. But this place is beyond friendly service. The owner Dale is amazing! Best customer service I ever received. We got this beautiful tree with a water bowl, but water leaked. I was so afraid it wouldn't last until Christmas. I called the owner and without any questions he came to our house to try to fix the problem. I mean... Who does that? World with more good people like Dale would be just great.
