Nobel Fir Trees sold for $53 (thats with tax!) and that is the most expensive tree they have. A great selection. And great kids there to help you with making a fresh cut, help to your car and the money helps their troop out! We had gone to another tree lot in town but they wanted $100 for a similar tree! At least we know where our money was going when we went to Troop 900's lot. Its in the mini-mall on East Ave (same as Terra Mia & Pit Stop BBQ) They do take checks - and cash is always welcome. Of recent years, their quality of tree selection has been top notch. The trees are displayed nicely on stands so you can see the tree all the way around with ease. We chose a Noble Fir last year and a Nordman this year; there are various tree sizes to choose from, and we went with 7-8 ft in height. It feels good to support youth and this fundraiser for their scout camps and activities. Prices are on par when compared to other tree lots, too.

I managed to push the cart to the pay counter, went to the wrong side, the clerk didn't even step out of her room to help me re-route to the right payment side though seeing me with a full cart. And mind you, I am a very petite Asian. She then claimed DV rose pots were not on sale and that I didn't talk to the right Rose specialist! I demanded for them to honor the price because I drove a while to get there. She finally agreed after confirming with her "Rose Specialist". Perhaps she was not aware her attitude was NOT friendly/helpful ... when she was in a front position representing the Nursery. She only thanked me and got better after I paid almost $400. The man who helped me pushed the cart to my car however was humble and nice. I appreciated him. Overall I didn't like to be ignored and my experience there was not pleasant this time. Unlike at other Nurseries, everyone who saw me picked up anything heavy, they came right away to offer help.

The attitude and behavior were not acceptable and completely ruined my experience as a customer. I have already reached out through text and email but have not received any case number or response yet. I also called the store, and an associate manager answered, but there has been no follow-up so far. As a regular customer, I expect basic courtesy and professionalism. I hope store management, including Store Manager Shannon Johnson, takes this seriously and ensures better customer service so others don't not face similar issues.

Honestly, I'd have prefer the other pumpkin patches that are larger and have more photo ops. It was nice enough; we took pictures and maybe spent 30 mins there. I don't think there's a huge selection of pumpkins. I like the tiny palm sized ones, and the smallest ones there are like mini watermelon sized.

It's safe to say they may be one of the oldest stores downtown--and certainly one of the most beloved. What made this visit extra special was meeting their granddaughter, Kendell, who was working that day. She is a rare gem. Kendell is a wonderful young person and PHENOMENAL listener. She genuinely cares--something that's hard to find in retail these days. She's truly one of a kind. Lifestyle Landscape Design is great at stonework and paving. Unfortunately, they fall short on…read moreplanting smaller plants. Trees are well done. My husband hired them to put in a barbecue area in our backyard and pavers with trees in the front of our house. Then he suggested adding on some plants by our master bedroom window and behind the barbecue area. That's where the trouble began. All work was approved in August. We decided on honeysuckles on trellises and camellias. The work for the barbecue area and the front of the house went well and on schedule. The area behind the barbecue area and by the master bedroom were not completed. It kept getting put off. The job was started in August and was not finished until the following April. Excuses included that the plants were not available at the nursery that they use. That actually was a bit of a relief since they wanted to plant them in January and I was afraid that they would freeze. Then March rolls around and I ask if we could go to the nursery that they use and pick out the honeysuckles and camellias. There was not much to pick from, but we decided on coral honeysuckle for behind the barbecue area and purple honeysuckle and two white camellias for the master bedroom area. Unfortunately, the only white camellias available were on trellises. I told my husband that it might cause a problem, but if they asked for more money that would be perfectly fine. Unfortunately, no one spoke to us about it. Their answer to the problem was simply to leave out the trellises for the honeysuckles. Now we have honeysuckles that are planted too far from the fence with no trellises. This company is either lacking in communication with customers or does not have enough experience with smaller plants. I recommend them for stonework, paving, and tree planting, but not for smaller plants. Their pricing is very reasonable. Just be sure that they understand what is important to you for example trellises. Also be sure that they don't do any planting in January when your plants are liable to freeze. Better yet just stick to the stonework and paving. They are great at that!
