    My husband went to Dr. Strafford for a "rotator cuff" surgery. At first, everything seemed okay…read more Later, the doctor told him that he needed to do a second surgery on him because the first one "failed". So, less than a month after the first surgery- he had his second. When my husband was in the recovery room- post operation- I went to see him him, and he was crying! I asked him what was wrong. He told me that the doctor said that this second operation was a "failure" also! He was also worried that he wouldn't be able to do his job anymore. ( He used to have a cabinet shop). Seeing my husband so upset made me cry too. It was very stressful! So then Dr. Strafford came out to talk to me in the waiting room. He asked me if my husband could do "design" work now. ( He knew my husband's job required heavy lifting). He went to physical therapy, and then developed a bad wound that bled profusely. This was where his sutures were. We go to see Dr. Stratford. He sends us to an "Infectious Disease" specialist! This freaked us both out. We go to him, and he tells my husband he has a bad staff infection. He also puts him on strong antibiotics for 28 days. Now, it is eight months later. My husband still doesn't have full use of the arm that is on the shoulder side of the two "failed" surgeries. Nor can he lift any weight at certain angles. These two "failed" surgeries have been a nightmare for us!

Dr. Stratford was kind and gentle in treating me and answered all my questions fully. I found him to be knowledgeable, respectful and thorough. I would highly recommend this physician.
