Goes straight to the computer and starts typing like his paper was late or something. I start by telling him about my pain and increasing depression as it's been6 months almost that I started my quest for pain relief. I apparently dropped an f bomb and he stops typing, stands back from the keyboard and​ looks me in the eye (for the first time EVER) and launches into a prerecorded speech the jiat of which was he wasn't going to see me anymore. (I had to pay for this prescription in advance) The good Dr. wasn't available for my injection appointment, so I allowed his PA to do the injection. The PA informed me that Synvisc works BEST if there is some cartilage for the Synvisc to build on or attach to. REALLY?? But I'm bone to bone. Sucks for me doesn't it? This is the 2nd time in dealing with Ortho surgeons, that I've had the PA be MORE honest with me than the surgeon was. What comes to my mind? What else! The almighty dollar. I have good insurance, so what does he care? By the way doc, I had ZERO relief from the injection. Thanks for wasting my time. Also, I had to wait 40 minutes to be seen and I was an early morning appt.

When I first arrived at Highline, I could barely walk through the door. The therapists I met were Cheryl and Daya. The majority of my appointments were with Cheryl, and she was absolutely amazing! In less than 3 months with two appointments a week, I was back at full force. I'm 81 years old and can now easily walk miles, work in the yard and lift weights. I was sent home with 4 sheets of exercises that were designed by Daya. And last but never least, if I miss a day of the exercises, my body hurts!

Now that I have a solid job and good insurance, I was able to get physical therapy. This team is up on all the latest techniques and I was able to notice a difference after my first visit. About 6 weeks after starting PT, I completed a local Warrior Dash and I ran the whole way. I'm actually writing this just after getting off the treadmill from doing 4 quarter-mile sprints and 30" box jumps. Because of Chad and the staff at Auburn Sports PT I'm now training for a 12 mile mud run this September. This is something I wouldn't have thought of attempting without receiving my treatment. Also, I can't imagine a friendlier staff anywhere else. Everything about my experience was positive.

For this I get to pay a $20 copay each time and other charges yet to be explained. I don't care so much about the money but paying to do the same thing I could do at home isn't worth the money or more importantly my time.
