Once we settled on a system it was only about a week before the installer, Leo, and a helper (Sorry that I forgot his name) were here to remove our old unit and install the new one. That only took about a day and a half. When they left, we had heat, but needed an electrician to come run a new wire so that everything would work. The guys from Crescent Electric came out and got that all taken care of. Once that was done, Fernando came out to get the system dialed in and up and running. Everyone that we dealt with through this process was as friendly and professional as they could be. The install looks really neat and clean. They answered all of our questions and gave thorough explanations on how to work the system and thermostat. We couldn't be happier with the service and the product that we got from Frank's. On a side note..........it sure was nice to have that air conditioner when we had that Crescent City heat wave a few days ago!

They removed the nest, replaced a coupler in the OTHER fireplace and charged $150!!! These guys are either unskilled or just want to gouge us!! $1000!!!! This is why I waited 3-4 years before calling a pro to take a look at my mini split that has been leaking refrigerant. My handyman has tried & failed to find the issue for years. I would've been so much better off if I had called Alpha sooner. If I would've called them the first time I had an issue I would've saved hundreds of dollars. Jason, from Alpha came out today & looked at my ductless heat pump. He brought out his handy (& expensive) leak detector and quickly zeroed in on the leak, which was around the outside connection point. He just needed to tighten it and add more refrigerant. The leak detector verified the issue was remedied. He also took a quick look inside my other heat pump before leaving, to make sure that a common grounding defect of that make was fixed, it was. It's so rare & so refreshing to have a real pro that knows his trade so well. I will certainly call Alpha Heating the next time I have an issue!
