Choice told me they would have a tech ordered in 24 hours. And then daily it was a "soon" thing. Aaron gave me an appointment 3 days out. He diagnosed my fridge in 15 minutes. Wrote a report and even submitted it to my home warranty company for me. ( above and beyond). Then they came back days later with, we want photos of the leak. By then my fridge was gone, replaced and the leak was in an inaccessible part of the fridge up in the sides of the fridge, encased in foam insulation. Not repairable and not accessible. In any event. He showed up to my home looking like he hadn't showered in days....wearing baggy shorts and spongebob slides with socks. I let the lack of professionalism pass and hoped for the best. He explained that he didn't charge for labor, but charged a diagnostic fee of $100 instead. I wanted him to repair both my ice maker in my fridge, and my washing machine. His first comment was that the brands I owned were useless. He then googled something about the ice maker and decided it would be cheaper to replace the whole thing. Apparently that didn't include the auger, which is where I thought the problem might be..... The ice maker worked, it just wouldn't dispense cubed ice. It crushed the ice on both settings. He then went to the washing machine and removed the drain pump. There were a couple of small pebbles in the pump and he informed me it would need to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. While dismantling the machine to remove the part, he was less than careful with the control board, letting it slip and fall against the machine several times. My washer would go through a cycle before he touched it, it just wouldn't drain. I didn't notice until he was leaving that there was someone or multiple people in the car waiting. I assumed maybe they had dropped him off and had come back, as he was here the better part of an hour. When the parts arrived he came back to install them. He arrived at my house before I did, so when exiting my vehicle I noticed he had several children in the car with him. He left them in the car while he came in. Within 10 minutes I could hear screaming coming from outside my house and his phone started ringing. The 3 girls he brought (ages 7-11 maybe?) were fighting in the car. He finally went out to deal with them, and without even asking, brought them into my home. I offered to start a show for them to keep them occupied....what choice did I have? He replaced the pump in the washing machine and put it back together. He then replaced the ice maker. It was then that I had a friend show up to pick up something from me. I went outside to get what they needed and saw him going to his car. I fully expected him to come back in, as nothing had been tested and the fridge was still pulled out in the middle of the kitchen. He did not come back in, he just left. When I called and texted he answered the first time saying he was sorry but was in a hurry because he had his kids. I told him I would test them both and let him know. The ice maker still did the same thing....nothing but crushed ice, no cubed. The washing machine wouldn't even start, much less go through a cycle, so who knows if it would have drained or not. He didn't respond to any further calls or texts. I spent $200 for "diagnostics", $229 for parts that couldn't be returned, for nothing! I bought a new washing machine the next day and still don't have cubed ice. Last I heard, they don't even have a business license......AVOID THIS PERSON AT ALL COSTS!!
