First of…read moreall, Richard returned my call within half an hour which, as anyone who has ever dealt with contractors can attest to, is almost unheard of. He also showed up exactly when he said he was going to, gave us a very fair price for a roof repair, and then came back to do the job exactly when he said he was going to. Richard and his team did a super job, cleaned up after themselves, and were very pleasant and professional. I've since had Richard install tile and laminate flooring, change moldings, and paint rooms. All the jobs were beautifully done. Again, Richard gave me fair prices, showed up every day at the scheduled time, and made sure that everything was tidy before he and his crew left each day. When he finished the floors, he actually cleaned all my interior windows because he didn't want to leave any tile dust! I've referred him to friends, and I know that they are also very happy with his work. I'll definitely call Richard whenever I'm thinking of any home repair or improvement.

Said he "got it this time". Again, it was STILL leaking. He refused to return & do the job I paid CASH for. He should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of a single mom. Do NOT recommend for roof repairs. He didn't refund my money for not actually doing what he was hired to do.

This year, I finished the biggest project yet: my kitchen. It was a down-to-the-studs renovation - a big job. The day John came over to scope out the project, he stressed that he wanted my family to be comfortable with everybody on the team. "Kitchen renovation is the most disruptive thing you can do to a house. We're going to be living with you for months," was how he put it. : ) All of the folks who spent time here were skillful, conscientious, and friendly. In every way, they were a great team. You put a wall in the wrong place even after I told you 3 times it was in the wrong spot and refused to move it unless I paid - which I did. I ask anyone to please message me and I will show you all of the money I pad this unethical contractor plus photos of the work. Even the building inspector told me it looked like I tried to tile myself. He also scrubs his google reviews. He said he would not even discuss fixing anything until I pad in advance for the rest of the work NOT completed which was less than 5% of the total contract value. I was not going to give him any more money until he agreed to fix things he had already done wrong. Its easy for him to state this with no backup and make it sound like he is innocent. What else is he going to say. His work slowed down so much he finally looked at his reviews. He did the same thing to the other reviewer on here who posted in 2021 and he is just now responded at the end of 2024, years later. Stay away, there are plenty of ethical contractors out there. I…read moremade a payment for the service through Angi's list but was also asked for a "deposit" through cash app. Over 3-4 weeks I've gotten nothing but excuses about why no one has done the job that was paid for. I was first told the job had been done (I assume they thought they could get away with pretending to do it since I live so far away but little did they know I'm friends with the neighbors) and then was told it was just a mix up. Since then nothing but excuse after excuse.
