We have almost 30 huge windows, most of which had much painting and stains. They cleaned everything!!! To be honest, their rate is not very competitive. But considering the quality, I will choose them again next time.

My wife stumbled on this family-owned company while searching for a different one. The owner,…read moreRichard and his wife Tammy responded to our request for a quote and gave us a sight unseen very reasonable one so we asked them to schedule us for today. They showed up with another close family friend, Pat. They had a well designed operation which used our tap water and using a reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration system, they were able to use the rinse water to air dry without any streaking on the outside windows which saved much time because they didn't have to squeegee (sic) them before replacing the screens! Smart! We have 23 exterior windows and using Richard's system, needed no ladders using his extension brush which doubled as a rinse device as well. One person took all our screens and scrubbed and rinsed and dried them before putting them back up. The inside work also was superlative as they thoroughly scrubbed the sills beautifully clean. What I'm trying to convey is that they took great pride in their work and even scraped some paint overspray off several windows which I hadn't expected. Bottom line, We plan to use them from now on- they are part of "our" family now! Some photos to follow:

Can't say enough about these guys! I own rental properties and have worked with Nu Room for many…read moreyears on about 15+ projects. They always do fantastic work, do what they say, on time, at the price they quoted. They do superior work at a fair price, leave the job site clean, and about as easy to work with as any I've ever known. They have mostly installed new metal roofs for me, but also carpentry work. But based on the skill-sets I've observed, I would feel confidant they could do anything with a high level of performance. I've learned in my 30+ years of hiring contractors, that when you find a competent crew at a fair price, stick with them. Usually attempting to find and hire a lessor expensive contractor (cheap) will cost you money in the end. You will not go wrong with Nu Room Construction!!

very bad experience...a tile worker cut one of our pipes in the bathroom wall (near the kitchen…read morewhere they were working) which caused a water leak which eventually turned into water damage and mold in the kitchen cabinets....it was a complete mess...also, we paid for a tile floor job and they sub-contracted a young guy to do the work...after the job was complete, another contractor we hired to do some other work noticed air pockets in the tile work...the floor had not been properly adhered to the sub floor causing major air gaps...long story short - we had to have the whole floor redone by someone else...eventually had their insurance pay up and filed a lawsuit to get money for the mold and water damage from one of their men cutting a pipe by accident when he tried to remove an old backsplash....avoid this company as no one comes out to check their work or ask questions as to the quality of the work being done! BEWARE!!

I needed some updates to my kitchen and had some idea but not totally. The designers Jenifer and Justin were great in suggesting things and working with my budget. Unfortunately ding install there was an accident with my existing granite bar top and it broke. They tried to match it and almost installed it but I didn't want it because it was noticeably different. They decided to replace the bar top as well as the entire kitchen island with granite that I chose myself. They were also sensitive to my schedule as I had family from out of town arriving. They finished the day before and it was absolutely beautiful. I'll definitely work with them again as I have my master bath and closets to do next.

I have had to replace my floors twice, I have had up my septic dug up and reconfigured the pipes that were sticking in the mud and in the air. I have had the.pipes in the badement changed. I have incurred over $10,000 in expenses and my toilet is bubbling and dirty water has backed up into my shower again tonight. I asked Chris to stand by his product and he basically blew me off and hung up on me. He says I am past the 1 year warranty, but guess what it has never worked and he claims because he came out 1 time and claimed there were wipes in it, he has no liability. He is absurd and irresponsible. We only visited the house on weekends occasionally for 3 years and there was just me and my husband. The problems began in 2021 and they continue.

It took a while to get going on our kitchen remodel and bathroom upgrades, because of supply chain issues. But, once they started, it was a fast 3-5 day project to add new cabinets to our kitchen area and lay down new granite and install new faucets. They were careful, to not destroy the mirrors in the bathroom and were able to just rip out and replace the granite, sinks and backsplashes. Overall, we are very happy with the results of our new kitchen and remodeled bathrooms. They had previously (in the Fall 2021) done some work to repair an upper deck leak, where the water was leaking through an area where the flashing was not originally properly installed. This had caused damage into our master bedroom and they were able to repair everything, to make it look new.
