They use the best products and when you get your hair shampooed they always offer a complimentary mini-facial which I live for (I recommend not wearing mascara or much makeup). I rarely say no to the extra treatments they offer, even if they may be pricey, because I feel they genuinely, GENUINELY care about the health of my hair and I have never ever, ever regretted it. My natural hair wants to stay yellow and brassy. I, of course, thought I could fix this little problem on my own and I ended up with a hot mess. Another stylist tried to fix it and finally gave up. Danielle bleached the yellow out and then glazed it. All the while I was preparing myself that I wasn't going to get what I wanted. Twice in the last few months the person who was doing my hair cancelled the morning of. I completely understand life happens - people get sick, emergencies arise, but when it happens twice in a row, the salon should do something more then send a generic text and then ignore their customers. After my replies to said text were not answered, I had to take it upon myself to call the salon to see if they could get me in another time. I made this appointment FIVE WEEKS in advance and needed my hair done for an event over the weekend. The woman on the phone was not very nice. When I expressed I was disappointed because this is the second time in a row this happened, she just said "we can't have people work when they're sick..." she completely missed the point. If I get cancelled on last minute, twice in a row, and you can't accommodate a new reservation, give your customer a discount or a free hair product. Not an attitude. Especially when the salon would have gladly charge me in FULL if I was the one to cancel last minute. Thankfully, I was able to find a place in the area that took me last minute so I will be paying them from now on. There are plenty of other places, who charge better, and care about their customers, so tread carefully with this place.
