We purchased our 2016 CVO in Ft Walton Beach on Dec 31 2016. The cool springs store is one that is owned by the same ppl so anytime we take ours to be serviced we take it to cool springs. We also purchased the extended service plan so that we may have a rental anytime we bring it in. On Oct 2 we had to bring bike back in for a second time in one week we also had a group riding with us because it was a Sunday afternoon. The arrangements were that we were going to drop ours off and pick up a rental for a few days. I was very disappointed in the rental dept as it took them over an hour to get us a bike with all these ppl who were waiting on us. We were told that the bike had been ready the whole time waiting on us, the employees were just not communicating with each other but we were the ones having to wait. That's pretty poor customer service and not a good way to get recommended! read more

Let me write a review of my recent purchase. Bought my wife a new 2018 Street Glide Special, January 2018. Noticed in the first few days the ride was "extremely firm", regardless of the shock settings. Otherwise defined as "riding like a box of rocks" or a "log wagon". I adjusted to every setting, from Zero up, but nothing helped. Put 1,000 miles on it, and finally took back to dealership, and talked to Jamie Lima, who I'm told is the new head man on campus. They pull it in the shop, amid grand promises of treating me like family and service after the sale. They pull it out an hour later, telling me "It's functioning as designed". Well, if that's the design, Fred Flintstone had a better suspension on that Bedrock ride he had. Told me I should call Customer Care, I'd have to take it up with them (nevermind that their name was on the $25,500 check I wrote, it's no longer their problem.) So I called Milwaukee, and had a 40 minute conversation with Customer Care. There is no Care in Customer Care. After an extended debate, I was told, and I quote "If I was not happy with my Harley Davidson purchase, I was welcome to explore trying another brand." Direct Quote from Heath in Customer Care, reference #3369960 if any of the Cool Springs folks would think I made that up. So not only does HD of Cool Springs take no ownership of the issue, they pass it up the line to corporate, who takes no ownership of the issue as well. I currently own 7 Harley Davidsons, and if you total odometers in my garage, they'll exceed 500,000 miles. I know how a Harley should ride, and the new suspension on the Street Glide isn't it. I've taken ownership of the problem, I mean Hell, I bought it, right ? I've spent 800.00 on Legend Revo suspenion for my new touring bike, and it now rides properly. i got a bike from there 6 months ago hd certified they kept claiming was the best because it comes with this extra stuff i had an issue with it using oil and the front jug getting so hot after 3 to 5 mins idleing that the front exhausts turned bright red after talking to a bunch of harley people they said it wasnt supposed todo that it got brought up there to them and they said they added oil that the bike will burn it and that it was fine today the bike sits with 500 miles on it sense i bought it and yet again the same issues i told them to just swap it out he said fine he then talked to his people called me back said they will take my bike and 6k on top to get me into another bike on payments and i wasnt looking for anything different in price or nothing all just low down people who dont give a single shit about there customers and making things right from here on out i will take my business to boswells or bumpus like i was told todo from the start thanks for nothing DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY if i could give no starts i would bunch of fucking crooks only worried about there pay checks and thats all read more

I decided to start a do-it-yourself project by adding LED lights around the frame and under the tank of my Streetglide that was less than a month old. After fiddling with it all day, and being unable to get it to work, I took the bike to Cool Springs HD service department. It was late in the day on a Saturday and there were plenty of bikes lined up around the service bay. Sam in the service department stepped away from the bike he was working on to take a look at my mess. It took him about an hour to trace back through what I had done to determine what I had done wrong. He stuck with it and got me going. Sam exceeded my expectations since all I was expecting was an answer to a question. He dropped what he was doing and made sure that this customer didn't leave until the bike was where I wanted it to be. I left there very impressed. Thanks Sam. read more

Stopped in to Cool Springs to order a seat for my wife's bike. Me, my wife and our daughter all ride Harleys. As I was browsing through the bikes, Brad (salesman) came out and introduced himself. We talked some as he showed me some bikes and told me about the dealership. Came back a few days later to pick up the seat and spoke with Brad some more. He was extremely helpful and very professional and knowledgeable. I have bought Harleys from a couple different places before, but this place is different (in the good way). Introduced me to one of the owners (Jamie) and he showed me all over the dealership and spoke to me about all the bikes. Great guy! Because of that experience, I ended up purchasing a new bike that day. I highly recommend speaking with Brad if you stop in there and are looking to purchase a Harley. These folks Rock! I booked my Ultra Glide rental from these folks. I flew into Nashville Airport. I was picked up at the airport, (no additional charge) by one of the staff at HD of Cool Springs. When I arrived at the dealer, it was raining very hard and the forecast was 100% showers through the next day. I decided to wait a day before picking up the bike. They said, No problem. The girl at the rental counter was Tammy. She was awesome!!!! She knew I had no where to go and no transportation either. She called a hotel across the street from the dealer and got me a room. Then, one of the staff gave me a ride to the hotel. I forgot a few things, so before taking me to the hotel, they ran me over to a corner store, then dropped me off at the hotel. The bike I rented was a 2015 Ultra Glide. It was an awesome machine! I rode through Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina and Kentucky for 6 days, with no problems at all. (that is some beautiful country) When I returned the bike a week later, I had a rental car reserved for me at Enterprise. Well, they were supposed to pick me up, but they were not answering their phones. Well Tammy took charge and gave me a ride over to the car rental lot. I have rented a Harley several times before from different areas of the country. I have never been treated so good than at Cool Springs Harley Davidson. These folks know Great Customer Service! I had a poor experience involving the service department. I brought in my bike to have the starter worked on. It took almost 2 weeks for them to get it done. After a week when I called I was told the parts had not arrived yet. When I called a second time 4 days later, they told me the mechanic ran into a problem but they could not determine what the problem was. The mechanic had left for the day. They vowed the work would be completed later that day, which it was. When I picked up the bike, the woman that works in the service department brought the bike to the service door. After I paid and went to get on the bike I noticed that the left handle grip had been pulled clear down to the very end of the handle bar and mounted there. The left handle bar was 6 inches longer than the right! The grip is secured with three set screws, so this was obviously intentional. After going back in and telling them about this, the service desk guy fixed it on the spot and apologized. He could not explain why this happened. I could not believe that the woman that drove the bike around either did not notice this or did not care. This leaves me wondering if the mechanic had been fired for other reasons and this was the result of a disgruntled employee. I can understand that since I manage people, however, this should not have been something that was identified by the customer. I doubt I will be going to this place again. read more

I stopped by the HD Coolsprings store the other day to get some parts and look at the new Softail models. I knew after 5 minutes with the sales staff that they DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE about riding. So, I go to the parts desk and found that nearly ALL the prices are higher than usual, especially comparing them to the Harley Davidson of Columbia store. At the Columbia Harley Davidson store the parts people are EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND FRIENDLY. The one young fellow name Brent, helped me out beyond belief when I started talking about my Shovelhead. He stated he was building one from a bare frame and told me how/where to find obsolete parts at a good price. The Coolsprings Harley Davidson store when I asked if they could help me with a Shovel, they suggested Home Depot. Really??? I know a Shovelhead is old, but to work at a Harley Davidson Dealership and NOT KNOW what a Shovel is , is beyond me. I will NEVER RETURN to Coolsprings HD again. I went there with a custom wheel and tire I bought on line, given it's a rare size and was told they would not mount this tire because I didn't buy it from them. The arrogant service clerk also implied Metzeler sell second grade tires on line which is BS. Great customer prevention policy! I purchased a 2018 Limited here. Sometime between purchase and when the bike was picked up by the transporter, the bike was damaged (something feel on it and scraped down the left side. Pictures were taken by the transporter and sent to me. One positive was the saddle bag lid was replaced before the bike shipped. I received pictures of the damage and inquired to the sales manager on what happened and what could be done to solve the issue. He told me all was good. Upon arrival, there was still the same damage. I sent pictures to the sales manager and he said he would review and get back with me. After not hearing anything from him, I contacted the manager and he also said he would look into it and get back with me. NOTHING has been heard from either one, thus my review. We are not talking about much money in damage, but its the principal. I did not damage it! I feel from the no response, once you make the purchase from here, you are no longer an important customer; so forget you. Very poor follow up! read more

will not take your side and fight the motor company for you if you have issues with a bike. all they care about is your money have had good and bad dealings with them i decided finally im done with them, will never spend another cent with them all they care about is your money bought a brand new 17 street glide had brake issues with it so the general manager talked me into trading it in tell me he would give me a exellent deal and to wait till the new models came out i was not so sure as the value of my bike would go down alot when the new models came out, he told me no (lie) he gave me a rough number of what my bike is worth and what they would probly give me for it (estimate) and he said he can give me a exellent deal becasue he doesnt need to make money on the deal due to the problems i had, well time came to do the deal on the trade in and buy a new 2018 i got the worse deal ever they totally screwed me over they made thousands off me and yes i agreed to the deal but really had no choice in the matter seeing the 2017 bike brake issues and other issues made me feel unsafe on the bike. new 2018 bike has been in there shop almost 28 days with a list of issues yes they fixed MOST of them not all even re-using bad parts and not sending the moco correct information on what they have done to the bike and taking the moco side instead of a good loyal customer that has bought 3 brand new bikes from them within a 6 month time frame. do not buy a bike from these guys and please dont use there service department go somewere else were you wont get robbed.also good luck trying to cancel a warranty i had to take it upon myself to call the extended warranty company and send them the forms they needed witch i would have done in the first place but cool springs told me they had to do it (lie) please dont let the good reveiws fool you they are bad news these stay away!!!!also mechanics are horrible bike was there a month with many issues got it back and all the issues/problems are still there nothing was fixed!!!!brought to another deal and they found multiple issues with the bike unreal there techs are horrible they cant even change oil! read more

Had a great experience here. Went in to sign up for the safety course and got to talking with Pam after I paid and everything was set up. She passed me along to Leah, explaining that each department specializes in what they do and since she worked in store she wasn't as knowledgable as the sales people. Leah was great! Very friendly, very knowledgeable and if she didn't know the answer to a question, she went to someone to find out and didn't feed me any bull. After explaining what I was looking for and my price range, she knew where to take me and would you know it, I found "my" bike. A few accessories later with the parts department and I had bought my first Harley. Parts arrived quickly and were installed quickly and professionally. Very very satisfied customer. And the safety course was fun too. Trish is hard on you, but it's for your own good. Listen to her and pay attention to her and you'll be good to go. Don't take it personally if she yells at you as she did to me on a few occasions. Remember if you're new to the sport, it's very fun, and can be very dangerous. So she tries to prepare you as much as she can within the confines of a parking lot and 2 and a half days of instruction. Dennis, her teaching partner for the weekend is also extremely good. He is way more laid back (more my kind of style) and has been riding for years so he is very knowledgeable. If you really listen to and apply what they are telling you, you'll have fun, and you'll be that much more ready to take to the streets. read more

On Weds, July 15th, I purchased a new 2015 Ultra Limited. It was being brought in from the New Orleans store and was to arrive Thurs. morning. They were to swap my V&H exhaust from the old bike, put on a new A/C and backrest. I was going to purchase a SERT so the bike could be tuned to the new parts. I was told by the service dept. that they couldn't tune the bike until after the break-in period. They would do the service at 1,000 miles and put in on the dyno. The bike was going to be ready Thursday afternoon and they would call me. Thursday came and went. no call. Friday came and went, no call. Saturday, no call. I called them at 3pm and was told that the bike was ready, sitting out back and to come and get it. Picked the bike up at 4pm Sat and trailered it home. Went to take it for a ride, only to find out it wouldn't run. Then I found the front tire 6 lb. under pressure. The rear tire 6 lb. under pressure. The rear air shock at 20 lb. The headlight was so far out of adjustment that it was useless. It had one gallon of gas, 7 miles on the odometer, and was dirty. Trailered the bike back to cool Springs on Monday, the 20th. Talked to Woody, the general manager, who told me that I had to buy a tuner and tune the bike or it wouldn't run. When asked why the service dept. would tell me something different, He shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know". When told about the other issues with the bike and why I wasn't called, He apologized and said he didn't know. I bought the tuner and paid to have it tuned. They filled it with gas and washed it. On Monday the 20th I was finally presented with a bike that should have been delivered on the 16th. They charge $699 for a set up fee. That obviously doesn't include air pressure, headlight adjustment or a running bike. A couple of days after I got the bike home, I got a call from the dealership apologizing for my bad experience and telling me that is not how they do business. He wanted to let me know that they valued me as a customer and hoped I would continue to do business with them in the future. It was just more excuses and apologies. At no time did he offer to make things right or offer any incentive to keep my business. Although, admittedly, it is hard to make things right when you deliver a brand new motorcycle in an unsafe and unusable condition. You only get one chance to make an impression. They certainly made an impression and it wasn't good. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I won't be doing business with Cool Springs HD again. read more

I was very upset and disappointed. I negotiated with Cool Springs HD on a motorcycle for almost a week. It was a special color I hadn't seen much, and I was willing to drive 5 hours to get it! I talked to one salesman that told me he had multiple bikes of that color in stock with different options. We settled on a price and options, it was a done deal. We were going to be within 2 hours over the weekend so I wanted to get everything lined out before the weekend. So I did the online credit app, approved. Then they came back and told me the bike I wanted had already sold, I said what happened to the multiple in stock. I was told that wasn't true, only one in stock the color I wanted and it sold, but hey, we have black! I'm said yes, you and every other HD dealership! And you ran my credit, knowing the bike I wanted was already sold!!! So, there was a second bike, exactly like the one I was looking at, that was a nice color too. Ok, I will take that one instead. Well that one was going to be $1100 more because it had ABS and security. But the other bike had ABS and security! Yes, but I priced that too low to you. Really!! Not only run my credit when you knew the bike I wanted was already sold, but now up the price we negotiated because you priced it too low!!! Unbelievable! read more

I have given Coolsprings HD many chances to live up to who they say they are. Let's just say it's been a waste of time. No matter how much trouble you have you will never hear from the manager and or owner. I was sent to Coolsprings to get a second opinion on a noise that my brand new street glide was making. My bike was kept over the weekend and was test ridin by the service writer who is not even a mechanic. When I pick the bike up they said they heard nothing but noticed that my belt was extremely loose and out of spec. The service writer advised that he could charge me to tighten the belt or I could take it back to Boswells that did my first service. Wouldn't you think they would've tighten the belt if it was that far out of spec without a charge? I spent thousands of dollars on the Dyna last year there. I took the bike back to Boswells where they found the belt to be perfectly within spec with a Harley factory rep present. Shame on the service writer that wanted to play no it all mechanic for the day! I had trouble with the service department with a brand-new Dyna wide glide in 2015 also. It was the same service writer. I thought maybe things have changed. Nope! I will never go back and I will be sure to spread the word to everybody that I can. read more

BUYER'S BEWARE!!!!!!!! I would give this a negative number if I could. Watch the sale's men at this location they will tell you lies. Then the manager will say that a sale's man with two years there just did not know or understand. Do not give them any of your personal information they will do with it as they see fit. I told the individual i was not there to buy but was just looking he asked if we could look at what it would look like if i where buying today. Again he was told i was not ready to buy and that i did not want a full credit report run. i told him they could do a soft check. Anyone can check their credit and let anyone else for that matter and not cause it to effect their credit score. Again i told the individual i was not buying and he could do a soft not effecting credit check just to see what it may look like. He fully understood. When i got home i looked and there it was they had ran a full credit report after i told him I was not ready and that i only agreed to a soft credit look and that i was not ready to purchase at this time. The next day i called and talked to the manager and he said that it was a mistake that the sale's man did not understand the a soft and full credit report. If he did not understand a simple topic as i do not want a full credit report ran, a soft one was ok then he shouldn't be selling the top American made motor cycles for over two years. No he knew what he was doing he thought he would get me to buy something that day. I would never buy from this location and not sure if my new purchase will be a Harley after this. I had full intention of purchasing a new or newer Harley than the one I own now. I Guess the look for another company begins. I can not support a company that will lie right in your face and then not try and fix it , but rather make excuse's. If i had purchased a new bike I can only wonder what my service after the purchase would have been like. read more
