They had lots of inspiration boxes to fit different personalities. I found one I really liked and they helped me put one together to fit my mom. I ended up getting a couple of pieces of handmade pottery, tea, caramels, and a tiny plant. They wrapped it up beautifully in a box and ribbon. I will definitely be coming back here for future gifting needs and it's great to be able to support many local companies in one place.

Located in Webster Groves, it sells all sorts of unique, handmade-looking (they're probably actually handmade, too) home goods. Everything feels like a statement piece with how personality they have, but they all have practicality to them. It makes it really easy (and dangerous) for me to justify all of the purchases. The prices are very fair, and I love that most products come in the same design and different sizes. Service is great, vibes are great, shop is beyond aesthetically pleasing (peep the gorgeous ceiling!). I think about Forth and Home a ridiculous amount and try to come up with every excuse to swing by, and I can't recommend it enough.

What a great addition to this place! We love the unique decor and the warmth of the staff. Being able to try out the pens before buying them is a great way to avoid buying something that doesn't do what you need, but also leads to finding more things to try/buy! I love that they even have refills too when your pen runs out. I think the star of the shop was their printing press, and there was a lot of artwork that comes off of it that they sell. I love the little $5 block prints that made perfect souvenirs. I'll be back someday to pick up one of their large art nouveau block prints! They kind of remind me of vintage wallpaper. We each bought a smooth writing pen for about $25 each, and they're the perfect size to carry around in a purse for quick notes.

My collection of flags celebrate, holidays, local sports teams, pets, pride and my foodie personality. Since STL added a new sports team, I needed a new garden flag to support them. I was on-line researching and found one. I was getting ready to purchase my new City SC flag when a e-mail from Abigail's popped into my in-box. I cannot explain why I stopped my purchase and went to check my new mail, but I'm glad I did. Lucky for me the e-mail was announcing their new merchandise promoting, City SC. I went back and cancelled my order I was doing with a major retailer and placed an order with Abigail's. I prefer to support a small business, then pad the pockets of a major retailer. My package arrived in just a couple days. I received text messages telling me, they received my order and then telling me it had shipped. When I opened my package, it had a hand written note, thanking me for supporting a small business. This is the second business who has done that for me, this month. If you need a unique gift, I recommend shopping at Abigail's. However, if you're a shopaholic, beware, you my lose self-control.
