I needed to furnish a high-rise apt with tropical plants, and I worked with David and Chase on my order. From the moment I walked in Chase made me feel right at home with his southern charm and warm welcome. He listened to my inquiries patiently and invited the head designer David to assist me with plant selection. On top of being an excellent advisor on plants, David exudes a calm and happy energy that made the consulting session thoroughly enjoyable. He kept me company for 2 hours picking and tagging trees I like under intense Florida sun, and did it with smile and grace. I purchased a package that includes insurance that allows me to swap out any plants within a year's time, which benefit I successfully availed myself of and glad I made that decision as a few plants didn't work out as I planned. David and Chase remained pleasant and helpful in my second visit when I needed to do the exchange. Shaun and his team did an excellent job of planting everything. It looks great! I do have a few plants that were recommended for the West-facing yard that look like they are burning up from the afternoon sun, so I'll have to reserve judgment on that until I see how they survive and what is done about it if they don't. I rated 4 stars because there were a couple of glitches. It was difficult to come up with a recommendation for what to plant that met my criteria, and for one area, we went back and forth between several plants where I was researching them myself to see what might work. Also, no one told me what day the crew was coming to rip out my old plantings. Fortunately, I just happened to be home that day. The new plants were going in the next day, and I didn't know about that either until they came to rip out the old stuff. I was disappointed that Moon Valley doesn't install edging. I have to pay my neighborhood landscape guys to do that for me. Everyone at Moon Valley was very nice and good to work with. read more

Moon Valley Nurseries sent out a mailer to my neighborhood in Palm Beach Gardens. From the moment I called through today's installation, they have all been nothing but spectacular! Paul Luongo came out to design two garden areas with me and listened to all that I envisioned. His proposal was extremely fair and reasonable for the amount of shrubs, trees, plants, and removals included. When Paul again arrived with an out of town landscaper from one of Moon Valley's nurseries in Texas yesterday, they took such precision in flagging out where every single item was to be removed and/or planted. This morning Shaun Horne and his amazing team came and did an intense job of destroying a 37 year old intertwined tree bulb. It took four men over an hour with an axe and four shovels which all required resharpening repeatedly. I stood around and watched the whole job. They were phenomenal!! The two garden areas are so beautiful now and I can only imagine how they will look once everything matures. Paul, excellent ideas!! Such a pleasure to work with and cleaned up every ounce of dirt left on my driveway and walkway, like they were never here. Thanks again, Moon Valley Nursery!! What a remarkable Garden Center. This is the place to go if you want professional service and the biggest selection of top quality plants I have ever seen. It's the only Plant company I've been to in Palm Beach County that does everything from planning your garden, growing their own plants and installing, all under one roof. I had an idea of what I wanted for plantings around our pool area. I went to see them on a Friday. Phil provided me a computer mockup of what my plantings would look like. I then picked the exact plants from their inventory (which is enormous), and had them installed the next Tuesday. Instant gratification. They brought 5 guys out to install. All done in an hour. This company is the BEST! Paul helped me select my trees with absolute helpfulness and patience. I then was told when the arrival of my trees would come. They arrived exactly on time. Shaun as the project manager was kind, polite, and very efficient. His team used canvas tarps to collect the soil they had dug up. They even gave the trees nourishment. They moved the trees so that the limbs would grow north to south as I was wanting. Also, they measured the trees equidistant from the fences as I also wanted.
