The pin started to become loose, nearly falling out. I brought my watch back, and the man was so rude. I was trying to explain the issue, and he asked me to slow down because he did not understand what I was saying, even though he was interrupting me with incorrect information as if he wasn't listening anyway. He wasn't able to repair it and ended up ruining my watch's band. I just took my watch and went somewhere else because I didn't want to deal with him. Bottom line: he's short tempered, has absolutely no customer service, and worse, he doesn't know what he's doing.

Unfortunately, I had no cash, because he would have got maximum $10. When I asked how he came up with that number, he stated that he charges based on his time. At his work rate, a three line engraving would have cost $50-75. TRUST ME! Do not get any work from this guy.

I don't work too far away from Virginia Trophy so after a brief conversation with Bruce over the phone I found my way here. That was last year and I returned this past week to place another order for his new team. Virginia Trophy is a quintessential mom and pop shop. The friendliness of the service is something that you don't find many places anymore. Bruce is warm and inviting and most of all patient. I have dealt with other staff members here and they are just as friendly. There is a huge selection of trophies and all at an extremely reasonable price. If you are on a budget Bruce is making sure you get the best bang for your buck without even coming close to your max budget which says a lot about his honesty. The turn around time is great as well. For a small order he can have it done within a week. The trophies we received last year were great quality and the kids and parents loved them. They botched the job and ruined the commemorative knife blade with their half a--, screwed up, engraving and then insulted my intelligence by telling me that their shoddy work could probably be buffed out. Are you kidding me? I had to buy another knife and take it to someone who really knows what their doing in Williamsburg to get it done right the first time. I wouldn't trust York Awards to engrave a box top! I will never do business there again and I strongly recommend that other folks don't either! However, if you do, good luck!
