I contacted Randy Harding with RH4 Tree Service. He came out to look at the trees and I liked the way he spoke of each tree and area and what could happen. It was a big job and he brought in Andrew with Circle H Lawn & Tree. They gave a good quote (it wasn't the cheapest and it wasn't the most expensive). I chose them not only because of the good reviews - thank you neighbors - but I liked how they communicated with us. I learned a lot. They worked on our trees for three days, three very cold days. I would have been okay if they needed to reschedule. I was given a completion date and they beat it. I will be working with Randy and Andrew again! It started right, they rushed out for some sprinkler work and I asked about replacing my 18yr old fence. I got an estimate a little higher than the next closest so seemed inline, plus the quote had a little more detail. This was all preCOVID. After my deposit, they cancelled. starting multiple times, were consistently late and new excuses each time. We were 6 mo. In with more cancelations and some rain issues, but wouldn't have been if they honored earlier commitments. When the owner personally showed, he did work hard but I even had to mention after demo ended and they were mostly done, they left a batch of crap in the backyard that I had to ask several times to clean up. Cancelations got worse near the last 25% but then they convinced my wife to pay balance doe to personal financial challenges. After that everything was a struggle. More cancels and I complained about no caps on posts, no cement in post holes, missing boards, aesthetic issues,, gate issues and other stuff to drag to about a year for my fence. They wear you down with missed promises and I finally gave up. Now less than 2yrs old, I am having to hire another fence contractor to fix it. Don't get suckered like me.
