My daughter has been coming to Montessori Academy since she was 2. We absolutely love this school and all of the staff, Ms. Angela is amazing, she has so much patience with the kids the teachers are great too. My daughter is always kept clean, her diapers were always changed . My daughter always looks forward to coming to school. The school is very diverse, location is great too. I definitely recommend you checking them out.

I'm forever thankful for my daughter's teachers at Montessori Academy. It's a great feeling to drop my daughter off for the day and not have to worry if she's in good hands or not. My daughter is 3 and is a little baby genius, thanks to her teachers. Ms Angela, Ms Marine, Ms Jasmin and Ms Anahit are great mentors to the kids at the school and I'm so happy they are a big part in raising my baby. I love the Montessori method and what it teaches the kids, hands-on and independent learning. My daughter has an extensive vocabulary and tells me about her day at school every day and always has good things to say. On top of the school, they offer extra classes, such as Yoga, Kung-Fu, Garden class and others. These are so important to me because she gets to socialize and learn in other settings and teachings and can all be done during school hours, giving me more time at home with my little one. Thank you Montessori Academy for being a second home to my baby, for helping me raise such a wonderful human being! We love you!

Max is ready for a great day at Montessori Academy. Friday is Pizza day for all of the kids.

Dear Bright Future Montessori Team,…read more As a full-time working mother, I cannot thank the staff at this facility enough. I have been with Bright Future Montessori for five years, starting from the very first day of my firstborn's preschool journey. I now have three children enrolled here--one in the infant room, one in the toddler room, and my oldest graduating this year--and I couldn't be happier. My children are always excited to be dropped off and often want to stay as long as possible. The daily activities and educational programs are wonderful. Most recently, they came home with goodie bags from the egg hunt, and the photos Susie shared of the event truly made my day. I want to specifically thank the owners for creating such a happy childhood environment and providing these precious moments for my family. The kids are already looking forward to the summer program; they love the variety of activities, from pool days to cooking and planting. Thank you to all the teachers for the genuine kindness and care you show to every child.

I toured several places before finally choosing Bright Future Montessori, and I'm so grateful that I did. Both of my children started here at just four months old, and looking back, it was one of the best decisions I've made for them. One of the first things that stood out to me was the director, Ms. Suzie. She is always incredibly responsive whenever I have a question or concern, and she is so approachable and easy to talk to. That level of communication gave me so much peace of mind. What has truly kept us here for the past 4 1/2 years, though, is the amazing team of teachers. My oldest has already gone through four different classrooms, and every single teacher has been kind, patient, and genuinely caring. They treat the children as if they were their own, and that means everything to me as a parent. My kids absolutely love going to school. Every day they run in and hug their teachers, and that alone reassures me that they feel safe, happy, and loved. It has made such a difference in easing the guilt that comes with dropping them off. I highly recommend Bright Future Montessori to any parent looking for a nurturing, loving, and supportive environment where their children will truly be cared for.

Run by Ms. Kanthi and staffed by a truly excellent array of teachers, including Ms. Chrissy, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Fatema, Progressive has been instrumental in the growth and development of our daughter from age 3 to 5. With the guidance of Progressive, our daughter gained admission to our first choice private school, and one of the most competitive schools in the state. Over the years we have come to deeply value the warm, thoughtful environment of the school. Birthdays are truly special occasions frequented by princesses and superheroes, exceptional art is made with the guidance of teachers, and the educational rigor is unmatched. With the dedicated guidance of Ms. Fatema, our now 5 year old daughter can read, write, and do basic arithmetic at the level of a late Kindergartener, winning the admiration of family, friends, and admissions directors alike. Just as important, Progressive has allowed our daughter to find her voice, speak up and give her opinion, and instill her with a level of confidence that wows everyone around her. While perhaps less well known than other preschools that profess to be "feeders" for the competitive Pasadena private school scene (and who charge accordingly), Foothill Progressive is exceptional in that it stands not on a name, but the merits of its teachers and genuine commitment to the success of its students. Our daughter's success is proof that this is what truly matters. Thank you, Progressive Montessori, for everything you have done for our daughter and family. You deserve nothing less than our highest recommendation and we encourage all parents in La Canada, Pasadena, and Altadena to join your wonderful community.

Ms. Fatema's science class has been amazing in instilling a love for learning for our oldest child. We can't wait for our other kids to take Ms. Fatema's science class and Ms. Kim's science class. My oldest is definitely ready for kindergarten solely because of Ms. Fatema. The school has great hours for working parents from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Hot lunch is available for an additional fee. The school goes all out for all of the holidays and graduation. There are lots of opportunities for parent involvement should you want to be involved. The environment is screen-free and true to the Montessori method.

Our son had involvement in some early start programs, a mix of nanny's and babysitters, but little to bring him out of his shell. On a recommendation, we enrolled him at Flintridge. We witnessed our son flourish, socially blossom into a far more gregarious and enthusiastic participant in play, and embrace his weekend extracurriculars with more vigor and attention. I assumed at first this was just the result of more socialization, but the more time I spent with the teachers on this small campus, I realized it was the result of their curriculum, compassion, and genuine interest in each child's success. My wife and I found ourselves shocked when our once shy wallflower took front stage of a school recital and pantomimed a song and dance we never once rehearsed at home, unbeknownst to us but no less welcome. We had every opportunity to involve ourselves in the day-to-day of the class without any news or emails feeling overbearing. Pick Up and Drop Off was always pleasant, and the fellow parents we met felt like community. I say without hyperbole that I will truly miss Flintridge Montessori, and recommend it to any parent and child without reservation. When it came time to send my other child to pre-school, I without a doubt, wanted to send him to FMS. They both competed their toddler through TK/K program. At FMS, their teaching style is the Montessori method. It is well balanced with social, academic, hands-on learning, then they add in workbooks as they get older. The classrooms are always clean and organized, never cluttered. They have "toys" for learning, which are kid accessible, on low shelves, easy for them to reach. I like their play yard. They have age-appropriate play structure, sand pit, tricycles, rock climbing wall. I like that you can visibly see every part of the yard from the classroom locations. Many of the teachers have been there over 5, 10, 15+ years. Special shout out to Ms. Joyce (curriculum director /lead teacher), Ms. Melo, Ms. Hilda (lead teacher), - who are in the pre-school classes and they taught both my kids. Along with the other FLM teachers, they are all caring, nurturing, welcoming to my kids. Every morning, you will see them working 1:1 with the kids on their letters, numbers, lifecyles of a plant; while other kids are playing with their Montessori toys or doing an activity with the other teachers. They even had an incubator to let the student watch fertilized eggs develop and hatch while learning about biology and life cycles. My younger child went onto the TK/K class, he was taught by Ms. Jasmine (lead teacher) and Ms. Karly. Every morning, like the other classes, she is always so happy to see my child, providing me updates on his development. She too, working 1:1 with each child. By the end of TK, he was able read full sentences, do 1st grade level workbooks, solve simple math and subtraction problems, and name the state capitols. He is WAY more than ready to go into Kinder! Other highlights that I liked about the school are the showcases, held every holiday and spring, in which each class puts on an amazing performance organized by the teachers. The kids will perform several songs with choreography. I look forward to these every year. Potty training offered at the school was immensely beneficial. They made it so easy. After school care is another reason that I choose FMS. All the after school teachers are kind, playing and reading with the kids. They have a variety of days/hours/plans to choose from based on your needs. For working parents, this is very important. They are open even when other schools are closed for most winter and summer breaks. They are only closed for teacher trainings and holidays. Extracurricular after school activities is offered there for an additional, nominal fee. They have soccer shots, dance classes, art classes, and Ms. Joyce offers Mandarin classes. They offer summer camp, with themed weeks, and specialized events for the school year and summer, ie. reptile show, petting zoo, pony rides, bubble show, visiting the fire station next door, Doctor/Dentist /JPL career lessons. With Ms. Taylor managing administrative duties, I have seen a such an improvement on clear, concise communication to the parents, sharing information, keeping track of any payments and record keeping, like office stuff. She is so organized and pleasant to work with. The Director, Ms. Rohini, has been instrumental to this school, from hiring a strong team of teachers and maintaining a childcare & learning community we are happy to be part of. We are so sad to leave, but they prepared my kids for their next stage in life while teaching them to become good human beings. I love this school and especially love the teachers. EVERYONE there deserves raises!

The teachers at this school are warm, caring, and genuinely invested in each student's growth. The curriculum is also excellent. When my son moved on to high school, he was very advanced in math and well-prepared academically, which speaks volumes about the quality of education here. Ms. Lee, the administrator, deserves special recognition. She is kind, compassionate, approachable, and deeply dedicated to the students and families she serves. Her leadership reflects genuine care, strong communication, and a thoughtful, steady presence that helps create a positive and supportive school environment. She goes above and beyond to ensure that every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to thrive. Another thing we deeply appreciate is the strong and close-knit community. We truly believe our kids are more kind, empathetic, and confident because of the environment IMA created. We feel incredibly fortunate that both of our children were able to attend IMA. The fact that they prioritize siblings during enrollment was also a huge blessing for our family. The teachers and staff are simply wonderful. You can tell how much effort goes into making each event special with all the decorations, treats, and thoughtful details for both the children and their families. As working parents, we also found tremendous value in their extended early drop-off and late pick-up hours.
