My daughter attended The Learning Place for about 2 years (age 2-4). We had a wonderful experience there. We toured a few preschools but we didn't want a home daycare and some of the more institutionalized schools were incredibly expensive. The Learning Place was a nice in-between where it was more structured than a home daycare but less expensive than a more institutional school. At around $1,000 a month for 7am-6pm program we thought it was a great deal. The school has a nice outside playground with shade and cushioning a nice little playground. In our time there they did upgrade the playground to have shade and padding which was nice. Inside it is very clean and they separate the kids by age. There are two doors between the outside and the school so it is secure. They have an iPad check in and check out system. We chose the Learning Place because the director, Ms. Enereyda (Ms. E) is incredibly warm and friendly. I can't say enough positive things about Ms. E. We also liked that she speaks both Spanish and English and we could chat with her in Spanish. The other teachers like Ms. Veronica and Ms. Melina are incredibly warm and friendly as well. We always had very positive interactions with the teachers. We always felt that our daughter was in good hands at The Learning Place. I initially signed her up here because I was working in Glendale. After a year I began work somewhere else but kept her at Learning Place even though we lived in Sherman Oaks. We liked this place very much. Overall - - I highly recommend the Learning Place. Learning Place Preschool has been a truly wonderful experience for my son. It was th first preschool he attended, starting at just 2 years old. Miss E, Miss Vero and the entire staff were incredibly welcoming, it didn't take long for my son to feel comfortable, which meant the world to us. They were so patient with me as a parent, too allowing multiple tours until I felt fully at ease leaving my child in their care. The staff create such a warm, environment, and the structured activities promote learning through play in the best way. My child truly thrived there. The extracurriculars like Spanish, music, dance, water play and many others add so much richness to their learning experience. Their summer camp is also packed with exciting and meaningful activities. Another thing I appreciated as a parent was the communication with families through the Brightwheel app. It kept us in the loop. Tuition is very affordable for the level of care, education they provide. We are so incredibly grateful to every teacher who helped prepare our son for his next step. Over the last two years, our child has grown so much thanks to the love, structure, and dedication of each staff member. I did a tour recently for my 4yo. The entry has 2 layers of security access and the women I meet with was patient and knowledgeable. Even when I had a specific question, she asked a teacher to cover out and trouble shoot a plan, should my kid attend. They offer meals, which is new from most other places. Very clean. Organized. My daughter started at The Learning Place Preschool when she was exactly 2 years old and has been there for the last 2 years & the teachers treated her like one of their own. Ms Vero who is the new Director is so patient and helped us get her to be an amazing kid. I toured many daycares & preschools and found The Learning Place to be the best mix of professionally run but still has a loving family feel. My daughter transitioned to preschool at 2 years and will be staying until graduated to kindergarten. I will be so sad one day when eventually she has to leave to go to a public school as the care the teachers and the owners provide will be unmatched anywhere else. She is well prepared both academically and socially and loves waking up to go to school. They offer a variety of enrichment activities such as music classes, Spanish classes which are included in the tuition. The Summer program is having so many events. We love this preschool so much! My son is attending LPP since March of this year and he loved it. Mr B, Mrs E and Mrs Veronica are all very warm and kind - they made my son feel loved and cared for! We hate to leave LPP but we relocated outside of Glendale and didn't have choice but to move school. Nevertheless, I will not get tired recommending LPP to my friends living Glendale and Burbank Area. Thank you so much teachers for taking such good care of my son. The Learning Place Preschool is an excellent daycare. We had a total of 4 kids that attended the day care and they all loved. The teachers are very caring, they go above and beyond to make sure that the kids are well taking cared. The building has been completely remodeled in the past year, and the interior and exterior looks great. The place is very clean, which is very important in my opinion. Their curriculum is very good. One of my kids just graduated from the daycare this past July and I fell he has a very strong foundation to start his pre-school this August. The Learning Place Preschool is by far the BEST school my daughter has attended. This is her last week attending as she will be moving onto TK in the fall and it is very bittersweet. My daughter has attended a few preschools since the age of 2, due to life changes and moves, I found the Learning Place Preschool when we finally settled our feet and I wish I had found it sooner. She has been attending for almost a year now and within that year she has done so much learning and made so many friends. Mr. B, Mrs. E, Mrs. Vero, are so nurturing and kind. There is great communication amongst the teachers and the staff is on top of it, always on the same page. The class sizes are nice and intimate, it is very reassuring knowing that my daughter isn't being skipped over and is receiving the attention that she needs. There is a great sense of community and togetherness at the LPP, the school hosts activities for Mothers Day, Fathers Day, and pot lucks for the holidays that keep parents and the kiddos involved. There are so many other wonderful things that make this school great, if you're considering a preschool for your child(ren) I strongly suggest checking this one out!! I didn't like the way they talk to the parents i went for a tour and once they saw my son was crying cause he wanted to play outside when he saw the slide .. she started telling me that we are restricted and we have rules and the baby have to be disciplined .. not only cause my son was crying thats mean he is not disciplined .. And the reason why i came because when i called i was so clear i asked if they have availability and she said yes but when i arrived after all that conversation she end up telling me that they just confirmed they don't have any availability now they are just unprofessional they wait until they see the parents and then last minute inform that they are full and i told her you should've tell me so i don't drive cause i was super clear when i asked .. i just don't recommend this place read more

When my daughter first started at the learning place, she was not potty trained, painfully shy, and very behind on her speech. Today my daughter graduated and she is fully potty trained, still shy but working on it and light years from where she was, speech wise. The teachers and staff at TLP truly care about your child and you. They work very hard to make the parents feel comfortable and secure with the choice of leaving their child with TLP. I always knew what my daughter was doing each day and I felt that she was safe and in good hands. It's scary leaving your kid with strangers. It's scary trusting people with your kids education. The great thing about TLP is that right away I felt like I had made the right choice. I didn't find myself worrying about her throughout the day. That was huge. Honestly, the only downside is that my daughter has outgrown preschool and is off to kindergarten. The Learning Place holds a special place in our hearts and we will certainly miss them! read more

My son loves it here so much, he started here about 7months ago. It's nice to know that my son is safe and feels at home, he loveeessss his teachers too! He also would mention 'teacher' at home and pretend he is one of them like teaching, writing on the board etc. He would even ask me to take him to school on a Saturday! For me, I bring him here not mainly for childcare reason since I got help from home for now, it's more of educational, socialization and FUN my son can learn from here! This preschool is great!! My son just graduated this past summer and is onto kindergarten, but he still talks about the teachers and friends he made at the Learning Place. Where do I start, before my son began attending TLPP, I researched many, many preschools before deciding on TLPP. I came in one day, by appointment, to the preschool with my son and immediately loved this school. My son felt comfortable right away with his teacher Ms. Enereyda. She welcomed us right away. The preschool is very bright, warm and inviting. I could immediately tell my son would receive all the love and nurturing he deserves from the teachers at this school. There are a total of 5 teachers and about 25 students so the ratio is great, and they are all wonderful! My son started attending when he was 3 years old, and it was a difficult process for him (and for myself), since he has only been with me and it was his first experience at a school. Fortunately, all his teachers, especially his main teacher, Ms. Enereyda comforted my son and helped him feel better. My son is now 4 years old, and he has been attending TLPP for about 8 months now, and he is very happy there, he learns so much. I especially love all the social skills he now has. He is always bringing home classwork and cute projects they do at his school. I also really appreciate the patience all his teachers have in teaching my son academics and social skills. After several weeks of hunting I found it. This school is just overwhelmed to the kids before they enter into regular school. Teachers are always encouraging kids to eat healthy and hygienic. The place is small though they maintain properly. There is head teacher Named Miss N**, she is very wise, kind, respectful, positive & genuinely caring each one. She pays more attention to academic and all other aspect of improvements. If you request to work on specific thing you would see the result in a week from your kid what you wanted for. It's proven experience. Very positive & kind school environment. There are other fab teachers are also there to take care during play time. I am so thankful to be part of a school that realizes how the preschool example should be. Myself and my kid really going to miss this school for sometime. I would definitely recommend anyone to this school. Great school & excellent teachers we were so happy the tenure my kid spent here.
