I had two separate visits. My first visit was for X-rays and a dental cleaning. My second visit was for a filling to be replaced. Dr. Menendez and the dental technician were awesome. They clearly explained what was covered by my Cigna insurance and what work would be done. I'm extremely happy with the cleaning and my new filling. I don't have any sensitivity to hot or cold beverages and the filling blends well with my teeth. I highly recommend this dental office!

They kept telling us that our children needed a special toothpaste to remineralize their teeth to avoid cavities, but every 6 months they needed multiple fillings, sometimes multiple sides on a tooth. One child had so many fillings (10-12 teeth) that I finally called to check which teeth had gotten done before. Some teeth had been done more than once, but they told me they were different spots on the same tooth. My youngest was leaving for college last year and yet again they told us he had 3 teeth with cavities, but they could "squeeze" him in right then. That way he could be done before he left for college. We took care of them. Those three teeth were $1042. Fast forward, he returns from college, goes for his cleaning and now he has 3 more teeth with cavities at an estimated cost o $975. He was home for summer, so they scheduled him for a while later. Luckily for us, we moved and found another dentist near our new home. We forwarded his records to the new dentist and scheduled an appointmemt to take care of the 3 teeth that had multiple cavities. My son went to the appointment and came home in less than 30 minutes. The dentist looked at his X-rays, took new ones and said they did not see any cavities! In fact they looked at the cavities that had been filled PREVIOUSLY on the X-rays and said they would not have filled most of them. They showed him and me what to look for on an X-ray, so we could see for ourselves. Going to Restoration Dental cost us thousands of dollars in unnecessary fillings. Nevermind the trauma that my children had to endure with getting shots and further tooth damage for the unnecessary drilling that was done to "clean out" nonexisting cavities. Now my children have the good fortune of looking forwards to possibly having these unnecessary fillings weaken their teeth over time and potentially cause broken teeth, more painful procedures and bigger bills as they get older. I have attached a copy of the last estimate for my son (look how many more teeth they were "watching"). LET ME REPEAT THAT THE NEW DENTIST DID NOT SEE ONE ISSUE THAT WAS ON THE ESTIMATE, AND LOOKED AT HIS PREVIOUSLY FILLED CAVITIES AND SAID THEY WOULD NOT HAVE FILLED MOST OF THEM. If you choose to go to this dentist, don't trust what they say, have them prove it to you. Btw, I noticed there is another review complaining of the same thing. When I called to schedule my initial appointment the receptionist Kiara was very pleasant and highly efficient at her job. Through the years I have gotten several fillings, cleanings 3 times a year, and great referrals. In 2025, the dental hygienist suggested that I get a deep cleaning instead of a regular cleaning. I get my teeth clean three times a year for the last 12yrs and have very little plaque. On an X-ray there were circled to small spots that had plaque that they sent to my insurance company that could have easily been taken care of with a regular cleaning. The deep cleaning is more expensive and has over a hundred dollars out-of-pocket cost. I told them I did not want the deep cleaning. After that, the office staff refused to book an appointment for me unless, I got the deep cleaning instead of my usual cleaning. I can afford it, but I don't like dental offices forcing treatment on me because it's more profitable for them.

Not to mention the dentist leaving twice mid procedure to service two other patients, which just made an already nerve wrecking procedure even longer. I returned because of the ongoing discomfort and swelling in my gums, but I felt that my concerns were dismissed. The dentist filed down some excess filling, which provided some relief, but the underlying discomfort remains. I requested a second opinion, only to have to cancel after being notified they no longer accept my insurance. However it would be accepted if I went back to the original dentist. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed by the lack of attention to my concerns, communication, and proper follow-up. I'm now left having to find another dentist through my insurance to properly evaluate and address an issue I expected to have resolved at, "WeSmile Dental." I'm sharing my experience specifically for those thinking about going here. There's no need for the establishment themselves to respond with understanding nor disagreement. Dentists are licensed healthcare professionals who are trained to care for people and work in their mouths. Take your time. Don't rush through appointments. Listen when your patients tell you something doesn't feel right, treat them with care, and prioritize the person sitting in your chair!
