The glass was all double paned and unusual shapes, needed to be custom fabricated. Really wanted to get a company that would pay attention to the detail and get this done right since it's a nice house. They came out and measured all the panes, custom made replacements, and came back and swapped them out. All told this was a big job requiring a significant amount of labor. Turned out great! See my picture. Heads up I will mention the job start to finish took about 4.5 weeks vs the 2.5 weeks initially estimated, largely due to ordering of the custom glass. The price quoted was fair, and they came in 100% on budget. Happy to recommend and use them again. Also happy to use a local business.

I guess you failed to tell me that it was going to be $155.00 per person X2  (installers)... and the time that they were at my home was from 10:00 am to 11:30 am = 1 1/2 hours, not 2 hours....?? I thought I would let you know in advance of this before I give my "Beware heads up" in the future to Sea Haven residents and on my Yelp account of Del Monte Glass..... Again sorry for not understanding the hidden cost of install... I guess it's my bad.. won't happen again because your installers will not be welcomed at my home.... It was hard to find someone willing to cut a piece of single pane glass for a decent price, until we called Glassworks by design. When I picked up the glass a very nice man brought it to my car for me and explained what to use to adhere the glass to the frame. The office lady was extremely kind, there was also a man that helped us (the owner maybe?). This was an upbeat experience and I highly recommend them. They also sell Milgard windows, which are top of the line, and when I picked up the glass my mother decided to buy a new window for her house.

I can absolutely see why this outfit has a perfect 5 star rating. Our sliders were MESSED UP after…read moreyears of DIYing we finally decided to call in the pros. One slider was completely non operational and the others required muscles to open. Not only did they repair the sliders, they installed screens (which has eradicated our housefly problem) with pet doors. It took awhile for my husky to figure it out but eventually she and my lab were running through it like it was nothing (and they held up!!!). I worked with Grant, Peter, and Joseph through the whole process and they were all so professional and wonderful. They were totally cool with my rambunctious dogs running around the yard as well. While there was a bit of sticker shock... you get what you pay for. These services were about 4 months ago and the doors still operate as they did when they were installed. Do yourself a favor, stop YouTubing how to change or clean the wheels, stop putting those Amazon magnet Velcro screens up, and call The Glide Guys.

Restoring my double hung, wooden sash windows, I broke a window removing the glazing (so sad, this…read morewas antique drawn glass, but it is very fragile, so not surprised) 20"x 39". The window was not square, and they actually cut the window perfectly to size! (That may sound like a given, but no, it is not. One other place had cut a piece for me and they would only cut it one length, I needed 1/8 inch longer on one side.) They sanded the edges and loaded it up for me in my car. The glass is perfect, nothing fancy, just 1/8" but I was so happy with this result! Everyone I spoke to was delightful and very pleasant. I have had glass cut for other windows in the past, but never had such excellent results. I was especially grateful for the sanded (safety bevels) on the edges. I have had to handle fresh cut edges in the past, and I did not know that the sanding was available. Cut edges on glass is really stressful. We will be going back here for any glass needs.
