I had contacted Vince a few more times to confirm the other dates. Again, he never hinted there were issues. He just stopped replying UNTIL I advised him that I was going to cancel. THEN he immediately responded with "sorry for the trouble". My issues are: I'm handicapped and he knows that - would they have stranded me at the airport, stranded me at Monterey Bay Plaza and Spa with no way to get around, expected me to find other transportation and then happily let/expect them to take me to the airport when I departed. Now I have credits with the hotel and airline. It takes me awhile to plan things and I was really looking forward to enjoying a ocean and wildlife fix. I would have changed my travel dates if I had any idea there were issues. I'm extremely disappointed in the lack of honesty and customer service that Vince displayed to me as a returning customer.

We had contracted another shuttle company to provide a Mercedes Sprinter to take our Board to an offsite lunch and activity and that company called only four days before our meeting to let me know they "couldn't do" our job any more. I called Main Event on a Friday afternoon and not only were they able to provide me with an executive shuttle, the price was exactly what I was expecting and their customer service was great. They sent me the online confirmation for the service within two hours and I got everything set up over the weekend. The day of the contracted service, there was a terrible accident on southbound Hwy 1 that had traffic backed up for seven miles. The shuttle drive called me well ahead of our pickup to let me know he was stuck in the traffic and then he kept me informed of his progress to getting to us. He ended up being only 15 minutes late, which was alright with our group. The shuttle was very nice as this was my Board of Directors and their spouses who would be on it. The driver was considerate and professional. The final invoice was exactly what we discussed and we got wonderful service. We would definitely use them again for Board events!

He also did a good job chasing us around the limo to beat us at opening the door. We got a 6 person limo for 4 people and it was spacious and comfortable. The inside of the limo was very clean and new. It came stocked with vodka, champagne, sodas and water. They also have the changing color lights on the walls and ceiling of the limo for ambiance. Overall I would highly recommend this company for limo services and definitely for any future transportation needs in Monterey/Carmel area. I think the whole package was well worth what we paid and their prices are much lower than other limo services in the area.
