Karla and Taha are who I had the pleasure of meeting down in this center and they are great. They greet you with a smile and are so positive that its like you have friends during a scary time. Also the best part about this center is how quick things got done. I was in and out in about an hour and with in a couple of days my results were with my doctor and was able to take care of things quickly. I saw someone's comment about the condition of one bathroom. Unfortunately some people are just rude and gross. There are a few different bathrooms, so you alert the staff and use a different bathroom. If the staff doesn't address the problem then that's a problem or if all the bathroom are in a bad state. I have always found the staff is professional and respectful. You get your test results pretty quickly. They don't keep you waiting for appointments. They do remind you a bunch of times to schedule your appointment which is both annoying and helpful but some people do need those reminders. I have to admit that I hate needing to go to an imaging center for every xray or scan because my doctor used to do a number of diagnostic in his office as part of my yearly physical so one appointment and your done. Unfortunately my insurance company will only cover the cost of certain tests if they are done at an imaging center which is damn annoying. Insurance companies really piss me off but that isn't the imaging center's fault. In fact I was able to schedule my annual mamo with one of the scans I needed in back to back appointments. You also always are told your out of pocket costs before your visit so there are no billing surprises which I appreciate.

That was fine. I was luckily able to cover it. A few weeks later I received an additional bill for about $25 so I reached out for an explanation and itemized bill. They confirmed they would send one over and I let them know I'd wait on that and discuss with my insurance to see why I'm receiving an extra charge. I am still waiting on this itemized bill now almost 4 months later. I finally gave up and gave them a call to request that itemized bill again and hopefully just close the loop and pay if needed. They let me know on the phone that it had already been sent to collections. When I asked for a supervisor the supervisor let me know that they had overcharged me and were actually going to call the bill back from collections and process a refund for me. This was yesterday. Today I get a call that the collections recall was denied and that I did have to pay more money and that it was on me to pay the collections. This whole run around has been an absolute nightmare with them. The billing department is awful. All of this could've been avoided if they had sent me an itemized bill or simply explained WHY there was an additional charge. What a joke. I will not be returning and I will be letting everyone I know to go anywhere else.

I used to come here back when it was Montclair Radiology and the location is super convenient for me, but this is the last time I'll be coming here after repeated poor experiences. First, online scheduling. I must have uploaded my information 6 times -- they keep asking you to upload your personal documents repeatedly. Arrived there 15 mins ahead of appointment time as requested. Had to register once, they took my personal identification from me, then got called to a desk and STILL had to fill out additional paperwork. No one communicates with you about what's happening -- other patients waiting explained to me, oh, they're taking your ID and then you'll be called up to the desk. Waited 45 mins. after my appointment, so total of an hour from their requested arrival time. This was an appointment early in the morning too. The waiting room was already full of people with few seats by time I was called. Routine mammogram, was fine for what it was. In and out in 10 minutes. The whole process of making you wait foreever, making you give documents repeatedly, and poor communication throughout makes you feel like livestock, not a human. Nevermind them charging you extra for AI-aided exams. It's a personnel savings for them, but because insurance companies don't cover AI exam reading yet, they pass along the cost to the customer. Poor move and no, did not opt for this. Told me results would be posted to my portal in 24-48 hours. Going on day 5 here and no results yet. Tried calling and you cannot reach a human. They make you leave a message to get a call back. Records aren't reflected on my doctor's portal either so I have no way to learn about my results. Lovely way to add stress to my week. I live so close to this location, in fact, that I know they are not good neighbors to the people who live in surrounding properties in a residential neighborhood. Their employees have nowhere to park so they park too close to driveways which creates blindspots pulling into traffic. They extended their hours much later than the former owners and there are delivery trucks, landscaping, snow removal people who literally show up with loud trucks in the middle of the night. Have had several similar experiences in the past with waits, not being able to reach anyone over the phone, etc. Continued to come for the convenience of the location, but never, ever, ever again will I return.

The technician in particular really helped to make an awkward situation more comfortable. I was there for some x-rays because I fell down a flight of stairs. Only thing that bothered me a little was that the technician gave me a preliminary assessment after taking the x-rays (but insisted that I should wait for the Doc to confirm) and told me my tailbone looked broken (or as my friend puts it, that I broke my a$$). My doc's receptionist called me a few days later to say that everything was fine, I could continue on with my usual activities, etc. So just a word of advice that when the techs tells you to wait for the Doc to confirm and make the diagnosis, do just that ... but I will say that I didn't like the idea of a broken a$$ and would've rathered not hear the preliminary assessment at all.
